Join us at our third George’s Place location in Cape May’s Washington Commons. Serving up the same menu you know and love from our original beachfront location, this convenient new breakfast, lunch, and dinner spot is the perfect place to grab a quick bite while shopping. We are BYOB and Cash Only. There is a $15 per person charge for breakfast/lunch and a $35 per person charge for dinner for a no-show on your reservations.


Where did the George's Place tradition get its start? In 2002, Yianni Karapanagiotis transformed what was once a quaint corner diner serving breakfast & window-service lunch into a local legend for Cape May locals and visitors alike. The cornerstone of the Kara Restaurant Group collection, George’s Place is now known worldwide thanks to a visit from Guy Fieri & Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, but remains committed to providing the community with fresh & flavorful food, plentiful portions, and fair prices throughout the year.

                                                                                        They were so accommodating - we wanted to order a salad at dinner (not on the menu) and were able to. Our server was outstanding - helpful, did not rush us.

                                                                                        Have been to this restaurant multiple times and the entrees were not as good as usual (red snapper and lamb chops). The menu provides a good selection. I will return again at some point to see if it is better.

                                                                                        We came here for lunch before a wedding nearby. Food was good but nothing special, generous portions and very reasonable prices. However, you have to pay for parking.

                                                                                        Was the first time there , we went during restaurant week. Had the sampler ( 10 course meal.) was a lot of food but was very good and we will go back . Now we know what we want to have when we go back.
