Rising from it's sister restaurant in Downtown Dadeland, Ghee Wynwood continues the Ghee legacy at it's original home. Ghee means PURE and has a symbolic meaning both spiritually and in the kitchen of an Indian home. The restaurant encompass traditional Indian home cooking, ingredient driven using local artisan purveyors.

Chef Niven highlights the experience of dining at Ghee: "I want to my guests to walk into Ghee with the sense of entering my home. I want them to feel at home. I want them to smell the aromas and spices and get more engaged in their meal."

                                                                              Loved everything - food, service, ambience, price. Only problem is the unpleasant neighborhood and difficulty in parking. Having said that, Ghee is well worth a detour.

                                                                              Loved, loved, loved this restaurantn- the food was amazing. The staff was exceptional and the location perfect to access the best spots in Wunwood after dinner. Our favorites were the Yellow Tuna Bhel, the Mushroom Moo, Garlic Naan, the lamb chops and the Bell & Evans Chicken Tika Masala.

                                                                              Most atrocious food ever eaten. Food was delivered within 5 mins. Tells you how it was warmed up and served. All items are colorful but had ZERO taste. Absolute worst. What bad taste in mouth feels like.. eat here

                                                                              We weren’t happy with our table, but the manager was wonderful and found us one more to our liking. Our server was also terrific and took good care of us. As for the food; we were looking forward to a “James Beard” experience, but the food and drinks were disappointing. The tuna appetizer was good, but the lamb, chicken tamboor, and side dishes were all over seasoned . We didn’t send anything back, because being unfamiliar with Indian food, we weren’t sure whether or not it was supposed to taste like that. But, the experience turned us off to Indian cuisine.

                                                                              First of all, thank you for reading my comments about not being seated in the middle of the room. The host quickly found a table for us to the side which was great as it was busy and noisy. Many thanks to that. This is our fist time dining and we couldn’t have enjoyed it more. Genesis our wait person was very friendly, accommodating and helpful with our choices. Her suggestions were spot on and is the reason we enjoyed our meal. Thank you for the complementary chutney plater which was so delicious and interesting. I feel like I went on a vacation to India.
