Rising from it's sister restaurant in Downtown Dadeland, Ghee Wynwood continues the Ghee legacy at it's original home. Ghee means PURE and has a symbolic meaning both spiritually and in the kitchen of an Indian home. The restaurant encompass traditional Indian home cooking, ingredient driven using local artisan purveyors.

Chef Niven highlights the experience of dining at Ghee: "I want to my guests to walk into Ghee with the sense of entering my home. I want them to feel at home. I want them to smell the aromas and spices and get more engaged in their meal."

                                                                                Interesting and tasty food overall - very attentive staff. The only issue we had was that 2 of us received our entrees along with all our sides for the table about 20 minutes before the other 2 received their entrees! We had to keep calling over Our lovely server and she did apologise - eventually bringing out the dishes herself! Even so myself and friend were finished before my husband and my friends wife received their entree! Coincidentally they both ordered the same so obviously there was some problem with the dish! Lobster curry. So what started well with the great service and appetisers ended rather disappointing for the 4 of us. Will give the restaurant another chance as the food was delicious. Some extra side dishes to go with the entrees wouldn’t go amiss.

                                                                                Our party of 6 enjoyed every bite of this amazing meal. We are thrilled to have Ghee in Wynwood. We loved the mushroom momo, crispy broccoli, beef korma, Yukon dosa, saag paneer, hangar steak kebab, chicken tikka masala, Kerala lamb and for dessert, the warm sticky date cake is a definite must! Impossible to choose just one favorite dish. Great service. Great ambiance. Beautiful space. Everything we expected, and more, from this newest restaurant by one of our favorite chefs.

                                                                                Ghee is hands down the best restaurant in Miami . The flavors are rich, authentic, and beautifully presented. Every dish felt like a journey through India with a modern twist. The ambiance is warm and inviting, and the staff is attentive and knowledgeable. Highly recommend the tasting menu – it’s a perfect way to experience the chef’s creativity. Can’t wait to return!

                                                                                All of the appetizers / snacks were delicious, as were the ghost pepper paratha. The spinach curry was extremely bland and had whole chunks of spinach in it - definitely don’t order that dish. Service was very slow but that may have been because it was Jan 1st
