Welcome to Gianni & Mac’s Ristorante Piazza Nostra, a vibrant new dining destination on the Historic Marietta Square. Co-owners Gianni Betti, a Florence, Italy native and culinary visionary, and local restaurateur Randy “Mac” McCray, are bringing authentic Italian cuisine, an award-winning wine selection, and a warm, inviting atmosphere to downtown Marietta.



At the heart of Gianni & Mac’s Ristorante Piazza Nostra is a dedication to tradition. From artisanal pizzas crafted with a heritage dough recipe to a charcuterie and mozzarella bar featuring imported meats, cheeses, and freshly made mozzarella, every detail celebrates the flavors of Italy.                                                                     Overall, a great experience. Pricey in some ways, not in others. Portions vary based on what my table ordered and what I observed as it was brought to other tables. It seems that pasta dishes offer the most generous portions (very generous). I had the veal piccata which was delicious, albeit much smaller in size than the pasta plate. Great selection of cocktails, mocktails, and wines. I enjoyed observing the cooking activity which is in full view and as organized as you would expect under the watchful eye of one of the owners, who was ever present, observing, and ensuring things kept running smoothly. They have a charcuterie bar experience that I'd like to try another time. I'll be back.

                                                                    Sunday lunch - The calimari was good. Service was fair - lots of down time it seemed. We had Taglierini Allo Scoglio and Taglierini Cacio e pepe. The Allo Scoglio - shrimp was way over done and rubbery. The mussels and scallops were tasty. The sauce was watery with no real flavor. The Cacio e Pepe - not the classic flavoring one would expect. The sauce was gritty and not creamy.

                                                                    Absolutely fabulous! Will definitely be back. Looking forward to trying the cheese wheel. It wasn’t available for lunch but we still enjoyed!

                                                                    Joanna the manager was so rude. She brought our main entree to us, and we said we did not ge our salad., she rolled her eyes. She said do you still want it? Food was not good. Very disappointed.

                                                                    Food was amazing as always! Gelato is a must of course! The only thing I would have to say is the service was a little slower than I would’ve hoped it’d be. It was super busy considering it was a Saturday night, and our server did apologize for the inconvenience which I appreciated. It was mainly the bar drinks that took a long time so keep that in mind when visiting on a busier night. But overall, great place to eat!
