Beautiful venue with fantastic food. Staff and waiters were very friendly and excellent - just loses a star as they took forever to take our order. Nice not to be rushed but it ended up being a very late night as a result.

Absolutely wonderful restaurant - we took a friend for her 90th birthday and she loved it, as we always do. The food is excellent and the staff are so friendly, and the service is second to none.

We dined with you on Weds after an afternoon theatre matinee. We arrived very hungry and excited to try your restaurant for the first time. The Gamberoni bruschetta was tasty but lukewarm at best only, which did spoil this somewhat. The aubergine main was very small for a main, it was more in keeping with a starter portion so really disappointing. The saltimbocca was not served with any accompaniments so fries were ordered at a ridiculous cost of £5.50 for thin pre frozen fries which made this chicken dish very pricy at £ 30 All in all, we found this overpriced and mediocre, not in keeping with standards in other restaurants in Leeds of similar price. We were hungry and needed to eat so we did eat our meal and we did pay service charge without any fuss, the waitress and waiter were lovely so it’s not right to complain to them. But I would like to know, were we unlucky, or is the standard to expect ? A passing drunkard came into the restaurant and hassled us at our table which was a bit of a shock and we struggled to repel him. The waitress came over when she realized but it was very awkward and intimidating for us and probably her. Not the greatest of experiences Regards

Really looked forward to this meal for my partners birthday, we were in Leeds from Liverpool for the weekend. Restaurant was very nice, great atmosphere. The food I recieved was so dry, to the point I couldn't eat half of the meal. The waitress was lovely, I explained to her that I couldn't finish the meal, hoping she would offer me something else, or atleast give a discount on the bill. Her response was that she will inform the chef, then asked if we wanted desert menus. We declined, paid in full for our meals, and left I wouldn't visit again, I've been to much lesser known restaurants and there's ever an issue with food or drinks they do their best to rectify this. Sadly this wasn't the case here

Massively overstretched on a Saturday evening - took nearly 1/2hr to get a drink after being seated. Poor waiting staff looked visibly under too much pressure… 2hrs for a starter & main didn’t leave anytime for dessert which was disappointing after hearing good things. Ambience etc… was lovely though

Great service from the time we arrived till we left. We where staying in York but wanted to experience a different Gino's Food was excellent as its our first time at Gino's Leeds many times in London as we live in Cambridge. Thanks Again Al & Tracy DeLuca
