Chef Stephanie Izard and her team are thrilled to have joined LA’s vibrant restaurant community and continue our tradition of serving bold-flavored foods in a fun and lively family-style setting. Stephanie and her team have also crafted new dishes inspired by California produce and local flavors, like carrot-tahini dip with tahini tofu, and curried goat with radishes, pickled vegetables, and masa chips. To enhance the experience we offer a selection of wines from around the world with a focus on small producers, a rotating list of craft beers, and a list of innovative cocktails created by our bartenders.

Located in the Arts District at 555 Mateo, Girl & the Goat offers dinner service Monday through Sunday, plus brunch Sunday. Girl & the Goat accepts reservations but always welcomes walk-ins, travelers and adventurers!

The food here is just amazing. The flavors they put together make each dish an adventure of the taste buds. Sam was our server and she was great at recommending what would be enough for our group of 4 since the plates are all shareable. Will definitely be back!!

Had an amazing dinner at Girl & the Goat LA. The atmosphere was great, the service was superb & the food was DELICIOUS, some of the best I’ve had in a long time. If you haven’t been yet, make a reservation & go!

The food was incredible. I had the short rib noodles after my server recommended the dish. Service was quick and the plates were portioned well. The menu is built to share and I went by myself. My server recommended two items for a complete meals, so I decided to get one meat course item and dessert. One plate was a perfect entree and the brownie dessert was the perfect way to end the meal.

Best restaurant in the city, on every level. The food is amazing. Why have I never had cartots before in my life? Or corn? Or food...?

Dropped in for Sunday Dinner and was not disappointed. My wife and I loved everything we ordered: Naan & Dips to start, chili-sichuan basted bass, beef short rib noodles and for dessert the chocolate-honey & passion brownie sundae. Great mix of wonderful ingredients presented beautifully.

I love dining at Girl and the Goat. We had all vegetable dishes as my friend is vegetarian. The melding of flavors is like a happy dance for your tastebuds!

Everything was delicious. Cocktails were perfect. Goat Liver Mousse, Goat Curry and Pork Shank were real standouts and I'll never forget the green beans!

Everything we shared at dinner was incredible. The food flavor profiles were unique; the likes of which we've never tasted before. Our waiter was attentive and personable and the seating was enveloping and comfy. Altogether and outstanding experience.
