Gleesons of Booterstown is a bright, spacious and beautifully designed dining space and bar in the heart of Booterstown. It is a local gathering place for family, friends and neighbours to catch up over good food and drinks. Enjoy an exceptional five star dining experience consisting of only the finest locally sourced Irish produce for each of our dishes. With a menu filled with choice, our dishes are prepared to suit every palette. Favorites include Chicken Piri Piri, Pan Fried Plaice, Beef and Guinness Pie, Prime Irish Fillet Steak with Daily Specials too. We’re open seven days a week serving breakfast from 8am, lunch from 12 Noon and dinner from 5pm with friendly service and a smile.

    Absolutely excellent as usual. Fantastic buzz, delicious food, warm & welcoming staff. Had delicious tempura prawns & halibut.

    Great food and service. This was my first time at Gleesons and it was a nice experience. Make sure to ask for a table in a quite area as near the bar is too loud.

    The server must be overworked as she made a mistake with my order and the replacement was put on the table with no apology. Her knowledge of the menu was clearly not good. The food itself was average. However cold rice served with Tempura Prawns was not a good idea. The batter too was greasy. The chips served with the Plaice were soft. Over all it was not a good experience and we will continue to frequent our usual local venue. We would mention that another server who seemed to be in charge was very good.

    Only really go for the profiteroles, which are now off the menu. Some nice starters but standard pub grub otherwise.

    Menu is poor, food very average for the price. Not sure when menu was last updated but its tired and not very appealing and lacks flavour.
