GOGOS Waterfront Restaurant is a charming family run hidden gem. We are situated at Windsor Racecourse Marina, (next door to Windsor Racecourse), and we have lovely views over the marina and Windsor racecourse. During the summer enjoy alfresco dining on our lower deck and refreshing beverages on the top deck. During the colder months cosy up next to the roaring fire in our Shebeen where we serve our full menu We are dog friendly throughout so you can bring your pet pooch as long as they are well behaved.

There's free parking, lovely relaxed seating, a lively Shebeen bar and friendly staff waiting to serve exotic meats, espetadas - (our signature dish which is a skewer of meat or seafood, dripping with marinade over your side dish), sticky ribs and much more.

Lovely South African wines, creative cocktails, extensive range of gins and even Don Pedros the South African 'milkshake cocktail'.

We were sat and that was the most interaction we had all evening. Was asked if we wanted water when we were sat down. It never arrived. Then two children’s dinners arrived but after over an hour from arriving the other child’s dinner and two adults mains hadn’t. Then asked if the children wanted sauces with their dinner. They never arrived either. Complete lack of attentiveness and we were clearly forgotten about. We asked two people where our dinners were and had to chase up everything. Then had the check to bring the bill with a discretionary service charge added. That came straight off. Worst service I’ve had in a long long time. And the food was average at best.

                                                                                                                                          My partner and I decided to try somewhere new for breakfast. We normally go to Marlow I had the full English and my partner had eggs Benedict. Mine was fine but my partner’s had to go back as the egg yolks were solid! The replacement came out quickly. The waitress muddled up the coffees and gave us the wrong ones. When I raised this, we were pretty much ignored! Won’t be going back or recommending it.

                                                                                                                                          I couldn't recommend this amazing restaurant enough. From the moment we arrived , to the time we walked out the door - we had a memorable time . The staff make you feel welcome and are fully attentive. They know the food, and recommended the best wine for our meal. The food was outstanding and great value for money. We were spending time with friends, one of whom has MND with a few months to live, and we made such lovely memories during our evening. As the sun set in the backdrop we laughed and cried, savouring every moment. Thank you GOGO's.
