Located between the Delaware River and Canal in Bucks County, the Golden Pheasant Inn offers fine dining and luxurious accommodations in a truly picturesque setting. We are only one hour and thirty minutes from New York City or Philadelphia, and only 25 minutes north of New Hope, PA.
The Inn had previously been family-owned and operated for over 30 years by the Faure family. Jack Thompson, of the Thompson Organization and the Black Bass Hotel, purchased the Golden Pheasant in July of 2019 and plans to reopen in the new year. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Golden Pheasant Inn!

This is a restraurant chain that has gotten incredibly good reviews from me, and I am hugely disappointed……My wife’s steak was first class in every way as was our deserts but it stopped there….lots and lots of greens and potatoes were the prime ingredients for me…not the octopus for the appetizer and 99.99% absent was the duck confit that was to go with the poached eggs main course.

Great food and atmosphere. We went to the New Years Day brunch. Drinks were terrific also.

We moved from the great room into the historic part of the restaurant because it was too hot. The hostess was very accommodating. Our server was exceptional and attentive. We enjoyed our bottle of wine and wished we had a basket of bread and butter in the beginning. I had the pheasant pate, which was outstanding, and my husband had the beet salad. He said he liked the vinaigrette. Later, I had eggs benedict without the Canadian bacon. I was glad I omitted that. There was hardly any hollandaise sauce to be seen. I was given some more, which was overly salty. With Canadian bacon, I would not have been able to eat it because of the salt. My husband had the Steak Frites, but the fries and the spinach were too salty. He ate the steak but didn't feel good later because of the salt. Overall, the ambiance is terrific. If you are sensitive to salt, which I do not (I love salt), let them know. We will be going back but will order something else.

We enjoyed the NYE, 4 course price-fixe menu. Food was delicious and plentiful, actually more than we could finish. Service was excellent, thank you to our server, Melanie who was attentive and lovely! Staff were dressed festive & sparkly and the restaurant had a beautiful holiday shine, which made the night fun. Noise level was a little louder than we would have liked (from the fireplace fan) but we enjoyed our dining experience very much and will be back.

This restaurant is exceptional and fast becoming a favorite! The table spacing is very generous in both dining rooms, In fall and spring and summer we also enjoy dining on the front porch at dusk- lovely view and there are heaters built in to the porch roof extending the outdoor dining season!
