Located between the Delaware River and Canal in Bucks County, the Golden Pheasant Inn offers fine dining and luxurious accommodations in a truly picturesque setting. We are only one hour and thirty minutes from New York City or Philadelphia, and only 25 minutes north of New Hope, PA.
The Inn had previously been family-owned and operated for over 30 years by the Faure family. Jack Thompson, of the Thompson Organization and the Black Bass Hotel, purchased the Golden Pheasant in July of 2019 and plans to reopen in the new year. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Golden Pheasant Inn!

We went here for Valentine’s Day. We had great service by a very attentive wait staff. The food was amazing, from the escargot appetizer to the red wine cake. The raspberry beet purée that was part of the scallop dish was outstanding! The scallops were perfectly cooked and the forbidden rice was delicious. Please visit this restaurant. It’s absolutely superb!

Food (featuring chateaubriand) cooked to perfection. Best salads on the planet. Wonderful and attentive wait staff. Perfect setting for a special occasion. We have returned and will continue to return many times.

Hosted a small group of friends there for my husband’s birthday. Food and service were outstanding. All of our friends raved about how delicious the food was. The room we were in was warm and inviting. Perfect night! Would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.

Favorite restaurant in the area by far. Real food, authentic chef expertise with refined recipes, upscale service and an incredible fireside dining experience with a French touch. Grace always makes our dinner special by adding that warm and professional touch to it.

The food was fabulous! We have been coming here since 1990 or so and have seen changes along the way. The current chef is amazing and I will absolutely be coming back. It was busier than I've seen on a Thursday night in a long time but they are having Locals Nights on Wednesday and Thursday. You can order from their specials featured for these nights OR the usual menu which is nice.

The staff is lovely. Great ambiance whether you are in the large dining room, small dining room or on the patio. This is our go to restaurant for special occasions. We have never had a disappointing meal here. There are so many excellent choices on the menu. Good cocktails & wine selection too.
