Located between the Delaware River and Canal in Bucks County, the Golden Pheasant Inn offers fine dining and luxurious accommodations in a truly picturesque setting. We are only one hour and thirty minutes from New York City or Philadelphia, and only 25 minutes north of New Hope, PA.
The Inn had previously been family-owned and operated for over 30 years by the Faure family. Jack Thompson, of the Thompson Organization and the Black Bass Hotel, purchased the Golden Pheasant in July of 2019 and plans to reopen in the new year. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Golden Pheasant Inn!

Food and service is excellent. I would rate the dining and B&B accommodations as one of best in this area of PA and NJ.

This is a beautiful, historic inn between the Delaware River and the old canal. The sun set just after we arrived, which limited the view, so we recommend that you go when the sun is out. The service was excellent. The food was wonderful.

Love this restaurant. From the ambience, to the service and especially the food. My favorite restaurant in Bucks County. Had filet mignon this time, perfectly prepared...and cannot wait to go back for Moules-Frites. Excellent ingredients and the dish is what it is, rather than some complicated concoction that just misses....(ok, that's a pet peeve ;) Enjoy!

Other than a couple of overly energetic tables, which the restaurant can’t fully control, it was an amazing experience. Food was great. Good, varied selection.

This place was recommended and we made the hour drive to visit! Very nice and demour atmosphere! Delicious food and cocktails! MELANIE was our wonderful server !

The entire experience was terrific. The drive along the river, arriving to a warm authentic Bucks County ambience - worth it. I hope the change of ownership does not materially change this resturant experience. The staff was open to a change to accommodate taste and preferences. We will add the golden pheasant to our rotation.

The Golden Pheasant is a special place. Our first time dining here. I had the grilled octopus and split a dozen oysters There’s no hiding freshness. They were wonderful. We enjoyed every taste. It was a special occasion for us and they did everything to help us celebrate. Being local, we have had a chance to dine at most restaurants in the area. The are many quality restaurants here but the Golden Pheasant stands out as one of the best.

Their end room that is surrounded on three sides with windows is beautiful, and you will almost always be by a window as a result of the design. Food was great, and there were several dishes I could have ordered instead.
