    My fiancé and I just got engaged and decided to celebrate here at Hell’s Kitchen. We have NEVER had food or service this amazing!! Our waiter Larry went above and beyond. We will be coming back the next time that we are in town!

    Hell's Kitchen: A Restaurant that lives up to its name Dining at Hell's Kitchen was supposed to be a special evening, but it was like eating in hell. We were first sat right across from the kitchen, which is arguably a good spot to see the "show", but it was hot, loud, and situated right in front of the bathroom. When the waiter came, I asked if we can move to a different seat. She said, "sure". The hostess wasn't as cordial. The hostess came to our table and said that there wasn't another seat, although we reserved our visit far in advance. My partner told the hostess that our seat was right under a speaker and it was too loud. The hostess lied and said that all the seats were just as loud. After some stern words, we were allowed to move seats. Against my better judgement, we didn't leave the restaurant. It was so bad it was laughable. We were asked what water we want: sparkling, still, or tap. We said still. The waiter came back, "we don't have still, only," now he changed his verbiage, "filtered tap water". We asked if we could combine the scallops with another dish, the waiter said we couldn't, as if customization and upcharges dont exist. We were never asked about our dietary restrictions. And, well I could keep listing events, but if you've read this far you already get the point. They say, never meet your heros. You let me down Gordan.

    Our party of 5 included 2 children. We had heard from friends the kitchen will accommodate picky eating. Our server seemed inexperienced and failed to ask any sort of clarifying questions. We did observe other servers enthusiastically and skillfully help other tables navigate the menu. After being such fans of the Gordon’s show for years, it was very disappointing to have so many incorrect orders and not have management offer any apologies. The food for the adults at the table, which were three of us, was amazing but when you only please three of the five people there the service just ends up being subpar.

    Certainly not the best meal I've had. The Beef Wellington was a little salty for me but the service from "Devon" counteracted any of the food negativities. He was exceptional.

    About what I expected. Overpriced by a long shot for what you get, but technically the food was prepared quite well. My guess is that very few are regulars, most date nights and out of towners. Food came out extremely fast (our apps arrived before our drinks).

    Pricey but worth it! Steak could use a better sauce but my gosh it was delicious! The risotto was like none OTHER..I mean everything we had was AMAZING

    Overall, the food was good. We have visited this place a couple of times, and today’s meal was enjoyable, although it was a bit too salty. The service was average at best. It's quite pricey, and considering DC's service charge along with the tip, I'm not sure if the extra $75 is worth it.

    I couldn't be happier with the experience. Honestly, Devon (our server) made the whole night 1000% better as he was attentive, jovial, and just outstanding all around. The food was amazing!!! This will definitely be a place we continue to visit when we want an amazing experience.
