Grana is a contemporary Mexican cuisine restaurant located in a 16th century building of Mexico City downtown. This establishmnet, run by Chef Jorge Diez, offers an intimate culinary experience that stands out for reinterpreting traditional Mexican dishes with a focus on seasonal mexican products, especially vegetables and seafood.
The open kitchen allows diners to observe the preparation of the dishes, adding an interactive dimension to the dining experience.
Grana has been recognized as one of the best restaurants in Mexico according to Culinaria Mexicana 2024, 2025.
In 2024, our chef is recognized as Best New Chef by Food & Wine magazine.

If you're looking for the ultimate fine dining experience with world-class hospitality, look no further! From the moment we walked in, we were treated like honored guests in Chef Jorge’s home. The ambiance was warm, intimate, and elegant—perfect for a romantic night out. Now, let’s talk about the food. A seven-course masterpiece! Every dish was a work of art, but the crab tacos and guacamole sorbet were truly unforgettable—easily one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Each course was perfectly paced, and the flavors were both bold and beautifully balanced. Chef Jorge himself was beyond hospitable, checking in on us, sharing his passion for each dish, and making us feel like family. The service was impeccable, and every detail was thoughtfully executed. For couples looking for a dining experience that is both luxurious and genuinely welcoming, this is the place. We left completely satisfied, already planning our next visit. Highly, highly recommend!

El chef Jorge fue sensacional desde el principio. Me encantó el lugar, la atmósfera, el restaurante es para pocos comensales, y con cocina abierta así que te sientes como en casa. Todo lo que preparan está hecho con ingredientes provenientes de productores locales, y lo preparan en el momento, el desayuno estuvo delicioso.

This was one of the best meals we have ever had. We booked it at the last minute when arriving in CDMX and ended up having a private chef’s table experience. Jorge and the crew are extremely talented, knowledgable, and kind. The combination made for an unforgettable experience…we can’t wait to come back and stay in their hotel, too!

Spanish: Una experiencia phenomenal y genuinamente la mejor que he tenido en mi vida. El chef Jorge y su equipo son muy amigables y realmente expertos en el arte culinario. Cada tiempo traía una nueva aventura maravillosa que nos tendría diciendo “no mames”. Fuera de la comida maravillosa, el ambiente también está hermoso e íntimo y le agrega mucho a la experiencia. English: A truly one of a kind experience and genuinely the best I’ve ever had in my life. Chef Jorge and his team are incredibly friendly and truly experts in their craft. Note I am not a vulgar man but each course was so good I lost count of how many times I went “holy s-”. We were cleaning up the plates no matter how full we got. Beyond the amazing food, the atmosphere is also beautiful and intimate, adding so much to the overall experience.

Me gustó la experiencia de platillos de 7 tiempos, son una verdadera delicia y la presentación es impresionante. El servicio fue atento y amable. Sin embargo es importante mencionar que el tiempo que te llevará estar ahí será largo, nosotros teníamos una escala en la ciudad y teníamos poco tiempo. También me hubiera gustado saber desde antes el precio y la experiencia en general para poder tomar la decisión de ir cuando tenga más tiempo
