With its warm, inviting, and modern design, Granite City Food & Brewery’s expansive interior features a spacious and comfortable dining room, four-sided modern, full-service bar, as well as an outdoor patio. We went for the Sunday brunch! The food was amazing and so many different things to try. It was my boyfriend first time and our server was such a big help with explaining things to him! We will be back soon for sure!

A huge thank you to the staff for their hard work on Thanksgiving. I know many missed out on dinner with their families. I drove up from Florida to visit my son and the dinner and atmosphere were absolutely perfect. It was a very memorable Thanksgiving for me. The folks who work here are so friendly, they really did a great job. Thank you!

We had reservations and visited on Thanksgiving and were immediately seated early in the bar area, after being asked if it was OK. The restaurant was busy, but not not "swamped." Austin, our server, greeted us and took our drink order moments after we were seated. Granite City has a buffet on Thanksgiving, and this was the reason we selected them -- it allowed everyone to get exactly what they wanted, from turkey, pot roast, ham, or salmon, with all the sides you'd expect for Turkey Day. Food was delish, as it always is at Granite City. The buffet was nicely set up in the main area, with more than enough area for people queued around the serving stations. Our server, Austin, was very attentive throughout our entire visit and brought our drink refills and desserts to us with a friendly smile and cheerful attitude, despite working with other customers on a busy Thanksgiving. Thanks, Austin and Granite City -- you gave us another memorable experience and one more thing to be thankful for this year!

Our waitress was prompt & courteous. We were seated in a booth straight back from the short flight of stairs. Diminishing the whole dining experience was a salesman seated with another prospective client. The salesman had a very powerful voice. They were having a pleasant conversation as the one dominant figure overpowered the discussion. There was a long tables set up with 10 young adult males. They were directly behind our booth. Those 10 were not nearly as loud as the one man seated at the table in the middle of that section. The restaurant was nearly filled. If it was known that this was going to be a business luncheon, perhaps they could have been seated in a side booth. Our soft drinks were as “cokes” should be. I ordered the chicken pot pie! The top crust was flaky, tender, and the flavor was awesome. The sauce of the pot pie was delightfully creamy, hot, and just so delicious. I often add salt to restaurant food. This pot pie needed no additional flavoring. The vegetables were a little sparse, but they were very yummy. There were small chunks of potatoes and carrot, plus some peas. The broth also had small chunks of chicken white meat, probably from a chicken breast. I will order this entree again. My husband, a veteran, chose French onion soup, which was topped as it should be with lots of almost stringy cheese. He enjoyed a full cup. My husband also chose the cheeseburger. It was served on an open bun, set so it could be garnished as the person chose from tomatoes, pickles, onion, and lettuce. Ketchup was available on the table. The sandwich was served with French fries. We both enjoyed our meal.

the ambience and service was great but the jambalaya was extremely salty as was the salsa.mediterranean chicken was good
