    I have been to Grappa numerous times and has always been a favorite place for special occasions but last night keeping the fact it was NYE in mind was disappointing experience not to mention extremely expensive. The upfront prefix menu was stated as well as their numerous rules/costs you’d be charged which at first didn’t seem like a big deal but when it was all said and done the bill for two of us was $350! More than my weekly grocery allowance by double. The prefix was stated as $95 but my friends ordered a bottle of wine for another $30 cork fee which I think is ridiculous! They add 3.5% to use a credit card which they state on the bill itemized and if you pay in cash the fee is removed but who in this day and age carries that kind of cash on them. If you feel the need to pass that on to the consumer add it to the entree price so it’s invisible to us. Not to mention the automatic 20% gratuity for service which definitely was not 20% worthy as our server had way too many tables and wasn’t even the person who did most of the serving. We had at least 3 different people. I guess the food was decent enough but portions weren’t great except for risotto and the cocktails are very pricey. I can’t say I am in a hurry to go back.

    A great experience. Had the service of been better I would’ve rated much higher. Food was great. My issue with service was that when the next course would come we would still have the plates from the previous course sitting in front of us. This created a cluttered table that made everything complicated. Other than that fantastic place.

    Food is great Service was adequate Added fees for using a credit card were not mentioned and not noticed until after bill was paid, On a 500.00 bill That seems a little cheap on their part.

    Excellent food on the Christmas Eve dinner menu and our server was equally good. Will definitely plan to do this again!

    Great food, nice staff, only two small complaints would be that we were seated in a noisy area when other spots were available & I’d also say that the portion size for the avocado smoked salmon toast was a little smaller than what I’d expect for the price.

    Grappa was very accommodating with my dietary restrictions (GF and DF) and made my partner feel celebrated on his birthday. One of my favorite restaurants in Seattle!

    Delicious food and lovely ambience made for a very pleasant evening. Portions were generous. It was a little loud for my taste, but that was the only complaint I had. I would, overall, recommend Grappa.
