   This was my second experience in the train carriage for High Tea. The scene, the ambience and peace we had both times was fabulous. Both times the staff were excellent. However I think after attending many other High Tea’s the food could be of a higher standard to match the location. The second visit was with my 7 year old grandaughter, to celebrate her birthday with her mother and myself. There was no allowances for a child, just eat what was there. Other places have special plates for a child and milkshakes etc. I would still return for further visits particularly if the style of food changes.

   The atmosphere was amazing great setting and photo opportunities. The food was very ordinary not the best high tea, the young girl who served us was amazing

   We were the only ones having high tea and initially were discouraged from having Hugh tea even though we had a booking. Then we were served warm tea and told there would be a 15 minute wait for food. Our booking was for 12 and food came at 12.45. The food was fine except the cream that was sour. Our server tried her best but the overall experience left us feeling that high tea was not supported by the chefs.

   Our group thoroughly enjoyed our High Tea. The food was freshly prepared, lovely variety and suited everyone's taste. One guest who is vegetarian said it was the best variety she has ever received at a High Tea. Alexandra who served us was attentive a helpful. Thankyou for a lovely afternoon and we would all consider a return visit.

   I took my mother for high tea for Mother's Day and we were very disappointed with everything. The service was very poor, the food was below average and not value for money. There was no fine china used and paper serviettes supplied. We wanted more jam and cream but nobody was around so I had to keep getting up to find someone to help. After all that I got served sour cream or off cream. There was no customer service, nobody came near us. I am very disappointed.... I would not recommend Bankstown Sports High Tea.

   We booked a table for 11:30am,I was phoned making sure we would be there on time ,which we were,,there was only 1 other couple there seated,,took 10 minutes to be seated ,,there was only one lady serving,,she brought our pots of tea out,,the tea went cold waiting 40 mins for the food to come out,,the sandwiches were terrible ,ham and pickles and some toasty ,,the scones tasted like they were days old,,the cream was nearly melted because of how long it took to bring the food out the ,,it’s the worst high tea I’ve ever had!!! After we left we went and got some proper food to fill out stomachs ,,I rate the over all experience a 1 Star…

   I enjoyed the high tea and the service was excellent, however, I did not enjoy the cream that came with the scone. There was not enough and it just disappeared when spread on the scone. I found when I made the booking times were blocked out and when I went to the restaurant there was no other diners.

   I took my friend there for her birthday and I was very disappointed. First the seats were very hard and uncomfortable. Usually you get a couple of hot savoury things like home made quiche sausage roll or little pie but no. The sandwiches were very ordinary. The scone dried out and hard. The other little cakes were okay. The pot of tea was only warm. When I told the waitress she only brought more hot water which made the tea weak. Sorry for the price it should have been better.
