The Greenhouse Cafe and Tavern offers a family friendly dining experience. Join us for our new Dining room and Bar or 'al fresco', alongside our beautiful pond and waterfall amongst beautifully planted gardens. We are focused on the "farm to table" concept and work hard to ensure that as much product as possible is locally sourced to ensure the freshest and most delicious menu offerings. Be sure to finish off your meal at The Frozen Gnome ice cream shop located next door!
We have our own gardens and greenhouses onsite where we are growing as much product as possible for use in our recipes.
Look for our weekly specials which will feature fruits and vegetables as they come into season. We offer fresh, local and sustainable seafood.
We travel regularly to purchase product for use in our restaurant from one of the best farmers in the business. Our route takes us through the famous Rhode Island ports and allows us to take advantage of the freshest seafood possible!

Wasn’t a good experience. We went there because it was decorated beautifully for the holidays and it was. The service was horrible. With a 7:45p reservation, we were still waiting to be seated at 8:15. There were kids running this place. Not one adult over 22 was seen We chose to sit at the bar instead. I ordered a medium rare burger that came out rare.

We went for the first time for a friend's birthday and the entire experience couldn't have been better. We were pleasantly seated as soon as we walked in. We did have reservations which I'm sure was helpful but it seems as though they have sufficient seating throughout both buildings for walk ins. The decorations were so beautiful and elegant, they were a conversation starter for sure. The waiter was the BEST! He was friendly, bubbly and on top of his tables and our service from him was top notch. The drinks and food I can't say enough about! Everything was absolutely delicious. I've driven by here for years and am SO glad we finally went. Highly recommend for any occasion!

The food was fabulous. The service excellent. The holiday decorations gave the restaurant such a cozy, inviting atmosphere. I would highly recommend this fine eating establishment.

The food and drinks were fantastic. Service was excellent. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for the Christmas season. Would definitely recommend.

We went due to videos I saw on TikTok showing festive Christmas decor and nice looking meals. The decor was cute, although not quite as impressive in person. The service was awful. We waited forever for drinks, then for our one appetizer- garlic knots. The garlic knots were actually not knots, but doughy rolls smothered in mozzarella served in a disposable tin. Barely edible. When our meals finally arrived, not a single dish was decent. Even the Caesar salad was served without dressing. I pointed this out at the end of the meal when we finally got the check, since our waitress was elusive during the meal. She apologized but nothing was deducted from the bill. It was nearly an hour trek for us, and we will definitely not be returning.

Beautiful venue. Loved the pond with the ducks. All of the servers and the atmosphere were wonderful. The food was very good too. I’ll be back.
