Unique fun food that is meant to be shared. It allows you to try different items and make it whatever you want. The food quality is very good. Service is excellent.

We had an amazing experience from start to finish. Despite our party of 10 not being fully present, the staff kindly seated us early to escape the chilly weather, a gesture we truly appreciated. Our server, Sarah, was outstanding, offering drinks and happy hour options while we waited. Once everyone arrived, she remained attentive, providing excellent recommendations, accommodating requests, and ensuring we ordered exactly what we wanted. Sarah’s service was amazing. Clearing space, checking on drinks, and making us feel genuinely cared for. The food was equally impressive, with shareable dishes like the flavorful Ribeye and Dino ribs standing out. Even the hostess checked in post-meal to ensure we had a great experience. From what I hear this restaurant has only been open five months, but I am certain they’re on the path to success. A perfect 10/10, can’t wait to come back.

I brought my husband for his birthday. He had been wanting a steak, so we ordered the ribs eye to share. We also had the Little Gems Caesar Salad and a side of Pommes Frites. The waitress was friendly, helpful, and provided good information on the food we ordered. And the food was spectacular. One of the best meals we have had in recent memory. The steak came with a delicious chimichurri sauce, not to much, and the potatoes were perfectly seasoned. I usually have ketchup with my fries, but these thick wedges, crunchy on the outside and pillowy on the inside were perfect on their own. The caesar was tasty, but I found the little gems a bit hard to cut. The presentation was very pretty however. It was a quiet weeknight, service was fast and side to side seating on a bench was nice. We were told more booth seating is coming. Highly recommend and we will go back.

The staff was super friendly and the food delicious, we had the Caesar salad, Burrata, potatoes, and ribeye. Caesar salad was the best I have ever had, the Burrata sauce was amazing similar to like a chimichurri, potatoes were super tasty and the ribeye melt in your mouth and delicious. They were super busy. I would highly recommend a reservation.

Service extremely slow. Over 30 minutes to get a cocktail. Food arrived before drinks. Everyone working seemed to be in a state chaos. The food was not good. We got the fish and the pork chop. Way over priced. The tables were too close together and small. Will not be returning. Overall very disappointing experience.

Lovely restaurant, amazing food and drinks. Service did not match the other amazing qualities of the restaurant. Maybe just an off night. Will definitely be back.

Fantastic cuisine. Portions are crafted for sharing. I recommend 2 entrees for 3 people to share. Generous portions! We’ll be back!

Griffins - Brea, CA 2/5 I was excited to try Griffins, especially knowing Chef Gabriela Gomez’s impressive background as a Michelin-star chef. My boyfriend chose this restaurant for an early birthday celebration, and I came with high expectations. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t quite meet them. The Positives: Griffins is located on Brea Blvd with easy parking, and the interior is spacious and inviting. The patatas bravas were flavorful, and we enjoyed the sumac seasoning—though the dish arrived lukewarm. The Disappointments: Our evening began on the wrong note when we were seated at a less desirable table, despite offering to wait. The roasted winter veggies dish came chilled (unexpected for a winter menu item) and lacked the comforting warmth we anticipated. The pork chop, served butterflied, felt rushed and underwhelming for a Michelin-star-level kitchen. Though the restaurant was busy, the quality of the dishes and overall experience left us feeling disappointed. Although we went to celebrate my birthday, we skipped dessert and ended the evening elsewhere. Final Thoughts: I admire Chef Gomez’s talent and vision, so I hope this was an off night. I’d consider returning with a friend to see if the experience improves. However, my boyfriend isn’t keen on coming back.
