    We like the previous seating layout better. Looking at a wall while you eat is less than desirable.

    Our server Jaymee was so attentive. He anticipated our needs and was very friendly and polite. The bus boys were also quick and courteous. The food was excellent. The lychee mojito was also good. We will definitely come back and try the wagyu next time.

    An overall very good experience. The food was good. I found out the difference between Japanese BBQ and Korean BBQ in the lack of sides. We were a large party so maybe contributed to some of the noise but we were in a back area with 2 other (small) groups and they were pretty quiet. My one complaint was that I told them 2 kids had a shellfish allergy so they brought miso soup. I was pretty annoyed to find out it had fish broth and seaweed. She said I said shellfish not seafood so I guess that’s on me.

    Loved the Chef’s choice of menu with a great variety of meats, shrimp, salad and soup to fill the hungriest guests. Great server, knowledgeable, kind and attentive without being intrusive. The restaurant could use some remodeling but an overall very positive experience. Will definitely add to our “go to” places. Thank you Gyu-Kaku!

    Food awesome! Waiter was wonderful! The shiishito peppers were incredible. We will be back again!

    Food was excellent. Service was good , but they were very busy because of course it was NYE and they were packed and out of stock on many things. Only bad part was bathrooms - water was everywhere in the bathroom.

    The front area with several tables for two is overcrowded. The food and service were both good, but the table was uncomfortable and didn’t have enough space.
