Hacienda San Angel Gourmet offers a breathtakingly elegant and scenic setting, ideal for romantic dinners and special celebrations. Our full-service roof-top restaurant creates memorable upscale Mexican and international meals. DRESS CODE in place is to maintain a fine dining experience. Shirt collars are required; flip flops, tennis shoes, t-shirts, tank tops and beachwear are not permitted.

Experience live mariachi bands up to four evenings each week during the off-season and six nights a week during the high season.

Indulge in unforgettable upscale Mexican and international cuisine at our rooftop restaurant, where full-service dining is provided.

CHILDREN 4 yrs and younger are not allowed. This venue is not suitable for young children.
2 HOUR table limit for 6pm & 6:30pm reservations for parties of 4 or less however we have an area for you to enjoy music and drinks after your dinner if you are not ready to leave.

    Tout était parfait sauf que le gérant nous a dit que des gens attendaient pour notre table alors qu’il y avait de la place et que nous y étions depuis 1h30 seulement

Il y a un délai de 2 heures au rail pour la première place et peut-être vous prévenait-il pour ne pas vous presser à la fin ? Je suis vraiment désolé pour tout inconfort et j'apprécie les commentaires. Je parlerai à mon responsable de la manière de mieux faciliter le redressement.

    My expectation was much higher then the experience last night, for Valentine’s Day. We have eaten at Hacienda San Angel in the past. We wanted to share the experience and brought a good friend with us. The location is very charming and quite stunning. I made a reservation in early October for Valentines Day, not thinking that there could possibly be a bad table. We were seated at the last table beside the pool. It seemed like a table added at the last minute to cover for an overflow. When the food was served, the only light was a votive candle on the table. None of the restaurant lights lit the area. I really could not see my food. My husband had the sea bass and the preparation was just not good. It seemed like it was almost a heavy mayonnaise on top of the fish. It seemed like it was trying to cover the taste of old seafood. I remembered the mariachi band and was looking forward to enjoying the entertainment. All we saw was there backs. I did talk to the manager. I told that I am not one to make comments on social media, but thought that I would share my experience with him instead. Honestly, he did not have any real empathy for our experience. There are many wonderful dining experiences in Puerto Vallarta, this was/is one of them For meal that cost over $5000 pesos, I expected the experience that we have had in the past.

    Oh no, I am so very sorry for the experience you described. I apologize and will talk to my manager to provide some guidance on ways to better respond. We do put tables all alongside the pool when full but I do not overfill. I had not heard feedback on the lighting there and I appreciate you telling me. I will take action on that to improve the lighting in that area. The sauce we use for the Chilean Sea Bass does not change and our supply of sea bass is always fresh so I don't know what happened but will talk to the chef. I just had it myself two nights ago and nothing had changed. I regret very much your experience and I am grateful that you let me know. Thank you for your patronage in the past and for your detailed feedback.

    Exceptional service, food and setting! We celebrated Valentine’s Day at this restaurant, and, although it was our first time, we’ll be back.
