I had an unpleasant experience at this restaurant. The male host at the stand on Korean Veterans Boulevard was rude and appeared dismissive. I informed him that one of the female Hispanic staff members wearing black did not wash her hands after using the restroom, and he seemed annoyed by my concern. I then spoke to the manager, hoping the issue would be addressed, but unfortunately, no action was taken to ensure proper hygiene among the staff. The same hosted failed to point out open bar tables that could have saved us time and saved us from standing and freezing because their isn’t any where to sit/wait if your table isn’t ready and the door was broken. Additionally, the restaurant does not validate parking as advertised, and the valet service is often full once I spoke with other patrons , making it difficult to find reasonable prices parking. Based on these experiences, I would not recommend this restaurant. Our waistress Ashley or Ashleigh was good but because of these reason I did not leave her a tip

We came for New Years Eve. A few extra touches like balloons on the ceiling of the bar area made it extra festive. Food (lobster bisque, sea bass, lamb chops, and potatoes with garlic butter) were all fantastic. Service was top notch. We enjoyed the music so much we moved from our table to the bar for an after dinner cocktail to continue to listen! Will definitely be back!

Steak was delicious. Christian was a fantastic waiter. The room was a bit cool and the live music was a little too loud to enjoy conversation - and we didn't even see the singer/band - it must have been amplified into our dining room - only two tables in our section. We will definitely be back!

As close to perfect as you can get. Ambiance was perfect, service was very attentive and enjoyable and as far as the food, not a single bad bite. Only suggestion we would make is have some beef appetizers in addition to all of the seafood appetizer offerings. Sophie was our server and she did an amazing job!

So awesome! Celebrated with family for my wife’s birthday. Everything was fantastic. Had been in Atlanta several years ago - first time at this Hal’s and it did not disappoint!!

We went there for my wife's birthday and it was the best meal we had in Nashville. She got the 12 oz fillet in the peppercorn and Cognac sauce and it was cooked perfectly and delicious

It was good! Not off the charts, best meal I’ve ever had though. The service was excellent and very attentive staff. We enjoyed the live music that wasn’t over powering; we could still talk and not feel like we were yelling at each other. I would encourage the restaurant to add a cocktail menu. The people of Nashville LOVE a fun/themed cocktail to enjoy rather than “well we can make anything you want”. I can guarantee more people would order cocktails if there was an actual menu to look at. My steak was delicious, but the smallest size was 12 ounces. I could never eat that much steak in one setting. I would have much rather seen a petite fillet on the menu and then would have been more enticing to add seafood to accompany the steak. Unfortunately, my husband’s steak was overcooked… still delicious, but definitely not medium rare. We had a good experience overall and will consider trying again, it just won’t be at the very top of the list.
