A great experience, considering it was Valentines Day and they were packed. Good value on their prices and knowledgeable service on the menu items. An excellent choice and alternative to the South Pearl restaurants when they are booked. Hana Matsuri does not disappoint in foods or service.

Had a great dinner with my fiancé at a sushi restaurant! The vibe was calm, our host was super sweet and attentive, and the food was delicious. The teriyaki steak with truffle mashed potatoes and grilled veggies was amazing, and the garlic sauce was perfect. We shared a green tea crème brûlée for dessert and loved it. Definitely a place we’d return to!

Our party of three all ordered bento boxes and were absolutely thrilled with the variety and quality. I will definitely return!

Sushi was fresh and expertly prepared. The omakase sample of 5 pieces was a great array of fish we may not have ordered. Good thing we went for the sushi. The tempura was disappointing with weird oily batter.

I had high hopes for this restaurant, especially since I had a completely wonderful experience celebrating my birthday there in September. But, unfortunately, the experience this time around on NYE was incredibly disappointing. It took forever to even receive our drinks. After waiting 30+ minutes with no service once our entire party had arrived, we had to ask the hostess to send over a server. Even then, it took another 45 minutes before our drinks arrived, with one even being sent back. It was clear they were severely understaffed for such a busy night, and it really showed in the service. The food, though nice and fresh, is definitely on the pricier side, but the lack of attention and long wait times just didn’t justify the cost this time around. Sadly, I will not be coming back.

We had an amazing time for my fiances birthday! Chef Adam made our first Omakase experience so fun, delicious and educational! Highly recommend. We will be going back again!
