HANDSHAKE BAR spans two levels, each offering a selection of our most iconic cocktails. Both spaces provide a warm, intimate atmosphere. One level is slightly larger to better accommodate guests.

Reservation Duration:
Reservations last 1 hour and 30 minutes, allowing time to enjoy our cocktails and unique ambiance.

RESERVATION POLICIES:
The maximum number of guests per reservation is six. For groups of five or more, a deposit of $250.00 MXN per additional guest is required, processed via credit card through Open Table.

Multiple reservations and combining tables from different bookings are not allowed. There is a 15-minute grace period; after this time, the reservation will be marked as a no-show.

Deposits are non-refundable if you do not arrive within the grace period.

We didn’t eat, we just had drinks. It’s separated into two levels. The Top level is more upbeat music like house, techno etc. and it holds 30 people. The bottom level is more hip hop music (my type) and it holds 56 people. My friend and I really really enjoyed this experience, it made our whole day ! When we arrived, a waiter comes and gets you at the entrance, walks you to the level you’ll be on, explains everything to you, and seats you down. When you enter the bar everyone greets with a loud and warm “bienvenido!” which automatically put a smile on our face. When you leave they yell “hasta luego!” Which again made us smile even more. The drinks were AMAZING, everytime they serve you a drink they explain to you what’s in the drink, how it was made etc. The music choice was amazing just as well, overos the service here is top tier. I recommend 10/10. I would love to come back here the day I come back to Mexico City.

Si te avisan que tienes solo 90 minutos, pero desde la hora ya te están presionando para pedir más y te traen la cuenta y la terminal… un bastante incómodo. Por otro lado, entiendo que sea para un público estadounidense… pero que no se les olvide que están en México.

Sadly our experience was not the best! This place is “the number one bar in the world” and I left there feeling that they have forgotten the experience and they only care about turning around the tables as much as possible and their mission is to make as much money as possible instead of making the experience flawless and creating a sense of hospitality around their guests. The little details matter a lot and all the menus were teared apart or with stains on them. The service is good the staff has a good attitude but all of this gets lost when they have a really complex way of operating their reception to the place trying to make it look more interesting than it actually is.

Our waiters were wonderful. Kept our waters filled and provided our drinks fast. They also said happy birthday to me with a little piece of cake with a candle. They are so sweet!!!

Excellent service with fun bartenders and a great atmosphere. The drinks were creative and unique. Amazing experience overall!

Their reputation is well reserved and I was honored to spend my birthday here. Friendly and energetic atmosphere. It truly is an experience Tienen buena reputación y fue un honor para mí pasar mi cumpleaños aquí. Un ambiente agradable y lleno de energía. Realmente es una experiencia.

Simplemente es una maravilla. Un lugar pequeño, privado. Aunque la experiencia dura poco tiempo y se va volando, los sabores que se experimentan son maravillosos. No hay comida pero no se necesita porque las bebidas juegan con todos los sabores.

They didn’t give my party the upstairs experience even though I booked for it. It seemed like they picked and chose who got to go upstairs and who stayed downstairs. The waiter was rude toward the end and, unlike with other tables, she asked us directly about the tip and refused to give us the machine to make our own selection. She also thanked other parties and wished them a good night, but when it came to us, she didn’t say a word except to ask if we were going to tip her, which we did. I’m not sure if it’s because we’re American, but the other groups, who spoke fluent Spanish, were treated much better. This was really disappointing and definitely didn’t meet expectations for a “top bar.”

Amazing experience overall with really tasty cocktails. We got the opportunity to sit at the bar and it was fantastic to see the cocktails being prepared as well as getting all the descriptions when receiving them. Got knowledgeable recommendations as well. Great vibe, friendly staff passionate about what they’re doing. Interesting that most of the preparation happens beforehand for the cocktails. Would definitely come back!
