Milwaukee’s premier lakefront dining destination, Harbor House is a bright, spacious New England-style seafood restaurant on the shore of Lake Michigan. With picturesque lake views, guests will be taken on a journey through New England with its reimagined menu, including a variety of dishes from Cape Cod, Nantucket, New Bedford, Martha’s Vineyard, Newport, and Boston.

Reservations are recommended, and we have a 15-minute grace period, so please call us if you are running late.
It's important to note that patio reservations are for outdoors only and we cannot guarantee indoor seating upon inclement weather.

Harbor House has a great location. The view of Lake Michigan and the art museum is one of my favorites. Extensive wine list. The calamari and bisque soup were delicious appetizers. Be sure to ask for dressing on the side of the beet salad. Sea scallops were a hit but the skate fish was disappointing because it wasn't warm and obviously had been waiting for the rest of our meal. Service was slow but the restaurant was full

Our server was as great as the food and ambiance. This one of my favorite restaurants and like to celebrate anything here.

This is a Milwaukee must. The service and quality of the seafood are stellar. The seafood is never overcooked! The new fall additions are wonderful. The seafood tower remains our favorite. Just wish they'd open for lunch more than Friday.

We’ve been here many times and enjoyed it in the past but this visit we found the service slow and the waitress did not take our order properly ending with a dish we did not order. I’m not sure we would go back, you pay high prices and you should get very good service which we did not.

Requested to have minimal spice in sauce. Request not followed. Too spicy. Oysters Rockefeller were horrible. A beautiful venue but won’t be back

As alway, food and service were very good. Crab cake (1) with small salad on the side (2 cakes would be nice for 2 people). Scallops were perfectly cooked, golden brown. Filet was exactly medium as ordered. Service by Evelyn and team was very good. It's pricey but not unexpected. We wish there was a dress code. Seeing people in jeans, sweatshirts, ball caps, etc. disrespects the ambience and quality of an otherwise perfect evening.
