Milwaukee’s premier lakefront dining destination, Harbor House is a bright, spacious New England-style seafood restaurant on the shore of Lake Michigan. With picturesque lake views, guests will be taken on a journey through New England with its reimagined menu, including a variety of dishes from Cape Cod, Nantucket, New Bedford, Martha’s Vineyard, Newport, and Boston.

Reservations are recommended, and we have a 15-minute grace period, so please call us if you are running late.
It's important to note that patio reservations are for outdoors only and we cannot guarantee indoor seating upon inclement weather.

We went for the Santa Brunch. The choices were fantastic. We had prime rib and lobster hash. One of the best meals I've ever had. Great value for the price. No it's not just for kids, though there were families there. We had a window table. Set 3 course meal. Salmon Rillette (smoked and poached salmon salad), and desert chocolate and hazelnut torte.

We have dined at The Harbor House on multiple special occasions. This was no exception. Dinner as a future family was such a fun experience. We look forward to spending future time together at your great establishment.

I’m a big fan of the Bartolotta restaurants. I’d still go back, but I have a few gripes about this visit. 1. When my husband repeated his order, because it seemed as though she did not hear him due to the noise level, the waitress said- I hear you! - really? 2. for a $16 side Cesar salad- make or give me quality croutons. Not cheap box croutons. 3. My medium steak, which was medium plus, but I didn’t mind, was some how bleeding all over my mash potatoes. Another rookie move. The steak did not rest. But still delicious. 4. When a member of our group, spilled the hot tea at the end, it was noted but the head server and nothing was done. We just moved the table cloth to catch the spill. 5 . It was still a wonderful night with our friends, lovely restaurants but I expected more. This is an expensive restaurant, please give me the service we deserve.

They food was beyond great. The staff was so knowledgeable and this might not seem like a lot but always kept refilling water. The waiter/waitress explained the menu so well. They even gave my fiancé a birthday card and a desert. She that the filet and I had the cod and it was so perfect. Got a table by the window as I requested. Only drawback was the 2 people tables in the middle of the room for one it made talking kind of hard cause the table next to us could hear us and we could hear them and two made it hard to leave cause of it being very narrow and trying to leave after dinner was a little tricky cause the staff trying to do their job, that’s the only reason it didn’t get five across the board.

The decor strikes a balance between modern elegance and coastal charm, creating a relaxed yet upscale vibe. The service was exemplary. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations from the menu and ensuring we felt celebrated throughout our meal. They even surprised us with a complimentary dessert to mark the occasion, which was a lovely touch. As for the food, everything was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Dessert was the cherry on top of a perfect meal. Overall, the Harbor House made my wife's birthday dinner truly memorable. With its exceptional food, stunning views, and attentive service, it's a place worth visiting for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy a great meal by the water. Highly recommended!
