Milwaukee’s premier lakefront dining destination, Harbor House is a bright, spacious New England-style seafood restaurant on the shore of Lake Michigan. With picturesque lake views, guests will be taken on a journey through New England with its reimagined menu, including a variety of dishes from Cape Cod, Nantucket, New Bedford, Martha’s Vineyard, Newport, and Boston.

Reservations are recommended, and we have a 15-minute grace period, so please call us if you are running late.
It's important to note that patio reservations are for outdoors only and we cannot guarantee indoor seating upon inclement weather.

A little gem in Milwaukee. Moved here from Baltimore where good seafood restaurants on the water abound in the region. Finally got to try Harbor House this weekend and it was fantastic. Great views of Lake Michigan, great ambiance and of course the seafood was terrific. A new go-to spot for our fine dining occasions.

Wonderful experience on Lake Michigan, highest quality food including fresh oysters from both coasts, and attentive service. Chef Mike was wonderful at the chef's table. We'll be back!

Overall a good experience but for a restaurant of this quality the service was only average with mistakes made throughout the various courses. It has become all too common for service to suffer from understaffing and undertraining. I miss the days when professional waitstaff enhanced your dinning experience by their knowledge and ability to time the courses allowing for a pleasant and natural flow of the meal. Food was excellent with the Salmon and Scallop dishes properly prepared. The Special lobster ravioli as an appetizer was very tasty. Crab cakes were good but should have been exceptional for such a high end seafood restaurant. The gelato was good but serving three different scoops in a glass coffee mug vertically was silly requiring you to finish each flavor separately. Table size for four is also a problem and becomes a challenge with any appetizer order.

As always, Harbor House provides us with good food, cocktails and service, in addition to great ambiance. Since we are part-times in the 3rd ward, it tends to be our "go to" restaurant.

We enjoy the Harbor House very much and we return as often as possible. In the summer we usually dine on the outdoor patio as the view of Milwaukee Harbor is excellent. In the winter we must stay indoors but the view and ambience are wonderful. Each of the numerous times we have dined at Harbor House we have been very pleased with the food and the service.
