   Harry's on Hanover is always the go to place for business meetings becuase of the quiet ambience. Food is a plus.

   We really, really wanted to like this place. We were seated right away, everyone was polite but the service was terrible. We waited over an hour for one person in our party to get a Stella (beer) and had to ask for it to be comped for the wait. The appetizers were great no complaints. The dinner menu is not only deceiving the portions are very small. There is an item called Hanover steak and cheese. The description says it came with french bread, not on french bread. Its basically an overpriced underwhelming Philly cheese steak, the side of house-made chips had no salt and an unbalanced amount of paprika. We were all pretty disappointed with our main courses. If you are happy with a piece of meat for dinner great but you won't be happy with your sides either. Desert was not better. Our coffees never came, they serve cheesecake that was previously frozen and not one piece of fresh fruit and again overpriced. Costco has better cheesecake. This place is great for bar food and a drink. That's it.

   Seriously great old restaurant. It’s been an institution on Wall Street for so long and still great. The dry aged steaks are seriously perfection. Service is awesome and friendly. I can’t say enough. Love Harry’s

   The oysters were fresh, succulent and outstanding with a pungent mignonette. We each ha d the special of basil encrusted grouper over fennel risotto. The wines under the sommelier list are excellent choices.

    Service was slow, though the food came out quickly once the order was finally taken. I like low lighting, but I couldn’t even see the steak I was cutting. My chair was jutting out into an aisle. It was a romantic atmosphere except for the music being way too loud for casual conversation.
