Located on-site at the Montreal Beach Resort, Harry's Ocean Bar & Grill is Cape May’s only oceanfront rooftop bar serving refreshing cocktails and delicious coastal cuisine from February thru December!

During the warmer months, come enjoy live music from local artists and feel the ocean breeze atop our rooftop or open-air dining room. In addition to a full menu, Harry's has a bar that is fully stocked with craft spirits, wine and locally brewed beer.

We look forward to welcoming you and your guests at Harry’s!

*Please note that our dining reservations for table service are for indoor dining and the patio. The Rooftop Bar and Seating area is a first come first serve space.

                                                                              We had such a fun time! Our seats were close to the band and they engaged everyone and made the experience so fun! The holiday decorations look great and really made the experience very festive!

                                                                              We got the burger and pork nachos. Overall everything was fine. Not great. Service was terrible, only saw our server at the beginning, where he didn’t even write down our order or ask how I wanted my burger cooked, and at then end when he gave us the check. Some other server dropped off our order but that’s all the staff interaction we had.

                                                                              We made reservations for 5:30pm & upon arrival we’re told by the host that someone should have called us to inform us that there was a private event and dinner was not available that night.. Which seemed odd as there was a full bar of patrons and even a few couples at surrounding tables clearly waiting for food/drinks. On our passing by later that evening, after eating at a different restaurant we noticed that there were still patrons at Harry’s in the bar and at the tables inside & out enjoying drinks & meals. Just the upstairs had a group of people dressed up in wedding attire, which seemed to be where the private party was. Disappointed that we were turned away for whatever the host’s reasoning that was clearly inaccurate. We recently moved to the area from the south and were looking forward to having a place like Harry’s to frequent… but I think there’s plenty of other restaurants/bars I’d rather give my business to.

I’m sorry to hear you had a frustrating experience, but I really appreciate you bringing this issue to my attention. Unfortunately when you visited we had two very big events. The wedding on our rooftop began at 4 pm and our other event started at 6:30pm in both the patio and inside of Harry's.                                                                               Promptly seated and server quickly came to take our drink order. Ordered appetizers and our main course together. We had not finished our appetizer and our main dishes were served. Food was excellent. The bus boy was a little ambitious, clearing plates the second you put down your fork. Wine know he was working hard, but it made us feel rushed Dessert selection was limited but the flourless chocolate cake was really good. Would go back, but probably for lunch not dinner. Portions were small and it was very noisy.

                                                                              Excellent Clam Chowder. Service very good even in a busy night. Kitchen performance spotty. Salmon entree dry with a poor choice of sauce. Rice tasteless. The Captain's Stew plenty of seafood but not well made. Even the scallops weren't cooked. Couldn't finish dish.

                                                                              Harry's Clam Chowder and Chicken Pot pie are the best. Only complaint is that it's on the ocean and the wind was howling. It was so cold and they didn't pull the cover down to block out the wind.
