   An overall great experience once again! The food was beyond exceptional. The only complaint is that we wanted a bottle of red wine with a little sweetness, but per the waiter, none available. Also learned you can't sample wines, which I found surprising. It makes it hard to invest in a bottle of unknown. Nonetheless, we were pleased with the martinis we selected. Kudos to the bartender.

   Host wasn't very friendly, somewhat dismissive/almost rude until he realized we had indeed checked in with someone else while he was setting up something elsewhere. Waiter was friendly but wasn't fully up on the menu. Food was mostly very good though - tomato soup was excellent, and the crab cake was truly delicious. However, the fried green tomatoes were short on flavor with uninspired breading and I've had better, more flavorful calamari elsewhere.

   Food is outstanding. Period. Thank God because the service is cold and uncaring (also had to ask waiter to remove a black hair from the white table cloth as I was seated), and some of the patrons act as if they've never dined in an upscale eatery before. Very annoying!

   I have eaten there many times. Great food. I did not like our table on this visit. It was way too small for five people and it detracted from the meal.

   We went for Fathers Day family dinner on a Saturday evening. The service was great. Menu is interesting. The dining area is small and better suited for 2 not 5. Will go again for brunch.

   Van was an excellent waiter, knowledgeable about the menu and spot-on with his recommendations. The food was exceptional!!!! The fried green tomatoes are a must. We had the chicken and pork chops, two meats that tend to become very dry when cooked.....NOT SO at Hattie's......both were very moist and succulent. We are going back next month to try two other entrees!!!!

    Consistently excellent cuisine; professional and friendly staff; nice decor; valet parking across street from entrance. Crab cakes were fresh and virtually all lump crab wedge salad had unique dressing; meatloaf was superb as was the swordfish special.
