Welcome to Hawkeye & Huckleberry Lounge, where celebrated Chef Brian Malarkey and his brother James bring a slice of their Central Oregon ranching heritage to Bend. Our 'modern cowboy' restaurant & bar with its wood-fired oven, semi-private canvas tent dining, and a vibrant outdoor patio, perfectly embodies Oregon's majestic outdoors.

Our menu, deeply rooted in ranch-to-plate traditions, showcases beef & produce from our nearby Tumalo ranch. With an onsite butcher shop and smoker, we utilize every part of the animal, delivering high-quality steaks and inventive dishes at friendly prices. Favorites include our Happy Hour Texas Toast Smash Burger, Whole Snapper and Beef Tongue Tostadas, all to be enjoyed alongside cocktails, mocktails local beers, and PNW wines.

Hawkeye & Huckleberry Lounge also serves as a dynamic venue for private events, from intimate dinners to grand celebrations. Join us for a dining experience that celebrates the culinary heritage of Central Oregon.

    Great ambiance, but everything else was very disappointing. Service was very slow, cornbread was very bland. Food was salty, oily and just plain gross.

    Had a very nice pre-Christmas meal with the family. Ordered the steak sampler for the table and some sides and salads. The beet and barata salad was my favorite. Service was great. Will be back!

    Food and service are amazing! Did the steak sampler platter with multiple sides. Everything is phenomenal. This place knows what they are doing and it’s become a favorite whenever we visit! Support staff went above and beyond tracking us down in the parking lot when my husband left his card behind. Highly recommend, must do spot in Bend and atmosphere is super cool! Bravo!👏

    Great service and very good cocktails. We ate in the bar and had the happy hour burger and Caesar salad. Both were good and worth the money. Fun vibe and a good new happy hour place to frequent.

    Frustrating. I asked for a special request table as we had 3 guests in our party with hearing impairments. The request was not accommodated with not notification. We were sat in the middle of the very noisy restaurant which made for a challenging dinner. The food was tasty, but very heavy. I was looking forward to something light with the romaine salad, but it came very heavily dressed and barley identifiable as a salad. My medium rare steak was quite rare, but by the time the server checked in on us, the meal was mostly over so I didn't bother having it refired. It was a disappointing evening.
