Welcome to Hawksmoor Chicago, where we bring our acclaimed steakhouse experience from the UK to the iconic LaSalle Powerhouse in River North. Our ethos is simple: ‘Buy the best and let it shine.’ We serve all-natural, pasture-reared, dry-aged beef from US family-run farms, cooked over charcoal and seasoned simply with sea salt. Our seafood, sourced from trusted Northeastern fishermen, is prepared with equal care.

In our 16,500 sq ft space, featuring barrel-vaulted ceilings and touches from the Golden Age of Travel, Hawksmoor is perfect for any occasion. Whether you’re stopping by for cocktails, a casual lunch or a special celebration, we make sure you leave full and happy. We also offer private dining for groups of 10 to full venue buy-outs for 500—ideal for birthdays, anniversaries, weddings and corporate events.

    Sundays at Hawksmoor are all about our Sunday Roast: all-natural, dry-aged, slow-roasted Rump served with crispy beef dripping potatoes, Caraflax cabbage and carrots, gigantic Yorkshire puddings, lashings of bone marrow & onion gravy and the option for a side of cauliflower cheese or slow-roasted bone marrow and onions. Sunday Roast dates back to the 15th century where large joints of meat were roasted on a spit over an open fire; to achieve a similar flavor, we start ours on our charcoal grill and finish them in the oven. Many who've had a Sunday Roast equate it to a Thanksgiving dinner – a comforting, filling meal that is best in the company of loved ones. And, should a Bloody Mary, or two, be consumed alongside it, who are we to judge?

    Have you heard of our Monday Wine Club? It’s a simple concept: bring any wine you like – doesn’t matter if it’s a first-growth Bordeaux or a bottle of Barefoot – and we’ll only charge you $10 corkage (for up to two bottles). Take a stroll over to our neighbors at the Aqua Wine & Spirits store (they’re literally on the other side of the street) and they’ll help you choose something to make your meal pop.                                                                                                           This is high end food and prices in a very casual setting. This is not white table cloth or posh, it’s a pub like atmosphere with very casual servers. That said the drinks and food were fantastic and highly recommend. Cool ambiance and setting and easy location

                                                                                                          Came in with my girlfriend for a date night, I got the pineapple soda it was very refreshing, and my girlfriend likes a specific drink but it was not on the menu so I asked and the bar team made it for us she loved it! Our server Gisselle was extremely helpful with taking our order we got the Caesar starter and the potted beef which we both loved especially the Caesar salad. For our mains we got the Chateaubriand it was cooked perfectly for our meal. Our sides consisted of the bacon, Chips, cream spinach, and mash gravy they were all delicious especially the bacon. For our dessert we got the PB Louie and, the Maple tart it was decadent. Overall our visit to hawksmoor was delightful thank you for making our date night very special and memorable. Is this better now Craig?!?!? Miss you ;(
