    First time in Hawksmoor Dublin. Underwhelmed. The room is truly amazing, great dining location, ambiance. Lighting decor etc.. all top class. But it should be matched by everything else. Why underwhelmed? I thought the attentiveness and attitude of staff wasn't great. We waited too long for our pre lunch glass of wine. I think, given the venue, the staff should be dressed in uniform rather than casual clothes. The interaction with staff was transactional rather than welcoming. The starters were fine, but the steaks arrived solely on the plates with no adornment and then your "Elevate" arrived, sauces and sides. Didn't look the best to be honest. Steaks were fine but bit exceptional. Side portions were miserly. Wine list is from cheapest to dearest which is very transactional. Would prefer if by country TBH. Overall underwhelmed.

    Gorgeous setting. Beetroot starter not one I loved. Really good steak. Chips were phenomenal as was sticky toffee pudding.

    Very good place !! I imagine all chef are good ! But in especial the chef Thiago Godoy !! Very professional !!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    This was our third visit and everything was excellent again. Staff friendly, service great and delicious food.

    Vibe of the place was awesome and bar staff was excellent! Food was extremely delayed and when it arrived to the table it was room temperature / cold. Had to send the food back for rewarming.

    The waiter kept coil to our table and looking at his watch As if warning us we were on a time frame for leaving the table .the funny thing was we hadn’t even got our food

    The service was good however one of party order a plain burger and it came fully garnished. The waiter changed it as soon as possible. Unfortunately we were finished our main course before it arrived back. I had the Wellington and while it was nice, there was a huge amount of salt in the dish making it at times unpleasant. My wife’s steak was very tasty however she was surprised it didn’t come with at least one side.

    As always an excellent meal! Great cocktails, impeccable service with warmth and friendliness and delicious food. The dining room lighting is just perfect and both main dining room and bar area are just gorgeous.
