Ottima atmosfera e accoglienza da parte di una gentilissima e professionale cameriera di origine Greca. Abbiamo mangiato un pesce freschissimo e molto buono, il Monkfish (Rana Pescatrice). Assolutamente Consigliato per una cena a Edimburgo.

All very good , not sure it’s £400 good ( table of 4) but all had a great night and enjoyed everything.

Value is poor and the service we received wasn’t great. Sides are very small with each side only for one person, so needed to order a second of each. Steak is very expensive for what it is. Similar with the wine, the cheaper options aren’t great and it gets steep quickly. Throw on top the service charge of 12.5% and it’s pretty poor value.

Venue was quite cold and lacked atmosphere also the Christmas decorations were poor

Excellent lunch at Hawksmoor food was delicious we chose the quick lunch menu which was great value for money. Staff friendly and attentive without being in your face and lovely surroundings

This is the second time Grant has served us. He really is a great asset for Hawksmoor. Very friendly and keen to make sure you have a great time whilst there. Food was great too as was the blended Hawksmoor Tinto.

We waited an hour on our meal, service was slow and couldn’t differentiate between staff and customers due to them not wearing a uniform. Meal was crap.

We were the first people in the restaurant just before 12 and after having to ask where our food was, we started eating just after 1pm. I will note that a family seated after us had eaten, paid their bill and left before we got our food. The sides were warm, not hot. And my medium rare steak was much closer to well done than I’d ever want it. I was nervous to ask for it to be changed due to the amount of time we had to wait in the first place and at this point was very hungry. The burgers that others had were very good so no complaints there at all. The service was fine, staff seemed friendly enough but in this day and age of having so many good restaurants to compete with in Edinburgh, is fine service and food that was okay going to cut it? Doubtful.
