Hawksmoor Wood Wharf is housed in an eco-friendly floating pavilion in a new riverside neighbourhood in Canary Wharf. Gently rising and falling with the tide, the main restaurant at dock-level is joined by a 120-seat waterside bar. Both include terraces with views across the water (squint your eyes and you might just see the ghosts of great ships laden with mighty lengths of timber that used to swing in and unload there). There's also a private dining room for up to 20 people named after the local legend Queenie Watts, a singer, songwriter, actor and self-confessed bawdy landlady (think Peggy Mitchell meets Joni Mitchell). The menu revolves around the best British produce the country has to offer with grass-fed dry-aged ethically reared beef, sustainable seafood from the South coast and some of the biggest hits from the Hawksmoor New York menu.

Parties of 8 guests and above are required to dine from one of our delicious Group Sharing Menus. We have 3 options available - Moonlighter, Silvertail or Hawkabelle. These include some of our most popular dishes paired with our classic sides and sauces, served as a feast to share. Please select one menu option for the entire group. Your guests will then receive all the dishes on that menu to share. Each menu is available as a 2 or 3 course option. Our server Teodor provided great service and recommendations on menu items. As a whole, this restaurant is amazing and definitely hope to come back again

Appreciate that prices here are on the higher side but felt was not wonderful value for what we had this time. We've been several times before so know what we are in for but £57 for fillet steak alone without any sides doesn't seem to represent fair value. Scallops were overcooked and a bit dry. Service lacked polish, food handed over other guest when there was plenty of room to place directly on the correct place and 12.5% added service charge didn't match how we were served. Main staff all good let down by amateurish deliverers of food. Could do better and have had much better here before. Underwhelmed this time.

The service was exceptional! Glass was smashed on next table to us the waitress was there on point to clear up and insisted on changing our carafe of wine. Our best hawksmoor experience
