Hawksmoor Wood Wharf is housed in an eco-friendly floating pavilion in a new riverside neighbourhood in Canary Wharf. Gently rising and falling with the tide, the main restaurant at dock-level is joined by a 120-seat waterside bar. Both include terraces with views across the water (squint your eyes and you might just see the ghosts of great ships laden with mighty lengths of timber that used to swing in and unload there). There's also a private dining room for up to 20 people named after the local legend Queenie Watts, a singer, songwriter, actor and self-confessed bawdy landlady (think Peggy Mitchell meets Joni Mitchell). The menu revolves around the best British produce the country has to offer with grass-fed dry-aged ethically reared beef, sustainable seafood from the South coast and some of the biggest hits from the Hawksmoor New York menu.

Abbiamo aspettato molto e molti piatti non c’erano Bello ma caro e un ristorante con questi prezzi deve avere un servizio all’altezza

We booked for 8pm and as soon as we sat down, we were advised cook finished inn20 mins and I can’t cook. Food was very good as usual but my guests were worried we would get a good dinner so we skipped starters just in case!

A return visit and again very enjoyable. We particularly appreciate the service and warm welcome. Food is good quality and the pace of service was really good even though the restaurant was busy. We would certainly return.

Food was absolutely a rip off I have never been robbed so bad in all my life so I refused to pay service charge as they tried to take £36. From me for bringing my food out too me ??? Next time tell me when it’s cooked I’ll go get it myself if it saves me a arm and a leg Blacklock is 1000x better 10/10 blacklock tried hawksmore and I wish I never did will never be returning even if they payed me 10x the bill

Food was perfect. Venue is beautiful It was very loud due to noisy people but felt that there was space. Two waiters kicked my husbands chair to get by and it wasn’t sticking out. There isn’t enough space between tables .
