We had the Yuletide lunch menu which was wonderful. The taste, presentation, and quality were first rate. Our server, Julie, was extremely pleasant and attentive while the Hawthorn Dining Room exceeded our expectations. We will be returning in future for other meals.

Our server may have been new at his job. We completely understood this. However we experienced several issues with service. The food was good except for one of our group. We all had the yultide lunch. The turkey they received was fatty and chewy . To be expected with mass output of plated dishes. We enjoyed our time overall. We have donned numerous times at the Fairmont Palliser over the years and will continue to.

Very nice dinner. Good food. Good setting. Service was pretty good. Over all a great dinner out.

We dined here for dinner because we were staying at the Palliser. They offer elevated dishes, but for the price there are much better options downtown. I wouldn’t come again if staying in the hotel.

We ordered the 40 oz cowboy chop with the brussel sprouts and risotto along with a few other appetizers and it made for a perfect meal. The Cinnamon Toast Crunch Mille crepe cake and basque cheesecake are also a must try. The carebear mocktail was delicious! I did order it less sweet and it was plenty sweet. We will be back!

I booked a table in the Hawthorn Dining Room, hoping to get high end food and ambience. But I was not placed in the Dining room, and I wasn't given a quiet table, as I requested. Instead my partner and I were dumped in an EXTREMELY noisy bar. If I had wanted the bar I would have asked for it. The server's excuse for putting us there was that the dining room was booked for a private function. Fine. But if they going to do that, they should warn their customers in advance. In my mind, a bar is not a place for the high end food that Hawthorn is known for.

It’s a beautiful place, service was fabulous Food was not good, I had the turkey dinner and the meat was inedible, the dessert sticky toffee pudding also dry and hard, they did take 50 percent of the price of meal off the bill so that was good. I will go back for wine or cocktails but won’t eat there again
