HAYWIRE offers a hearty, refined Texas cuisine made with only the freshest ingredients that Texas has to offer. From the scratch made Cinnamon Bun, Route 66 Pecan Pie in our bakery, to the locally sourced beef on display; we have what it takes to indulge your taste buds.

Come enjoy one or all three full service bars located on each level! From our First Floor Whiskey Lounge, Second Floor Main Dining Bar and Third Floor Rooftop Bar you are bound to find the perfect atmosphere for your Haywire experience. We take pride in our mind blowing whiskey selection, award winning wine list, and the variety of local beers and our signature craft cocktails. Making an online reservation was incredibly easy and convenient. We arrived just in time to take advantage of Happy Hour, snagging the $7 red wine and $7 Chips & Queso. While the wine didn’t quite meet our expectations, the Chips & Queso were absolutely fantastic! For our main courses, we chose the Steak Salad and the 13oz Ribeye, accompanied by Whipped Potatoes and Tallow Fries as our two sides. Unfortunately, we later noticed when we got home an unexpected $6 charge for the Tallow Fries, which caught us off guard. It would have been appreciated if the waitress had informed us about the additional cost beforehand. While $6 might not seem like much to some, it’s always courteous to let customers know so they can make an informed decision. To wrap up the meal, we indulged in the famous Pecan Pie, topped with caramel and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It was truly a highlight of the evening, and we highly recommend it! Overall, our experience was enjoyable and made for a lovely anniversary celebration. A small improvement in communication about additional charges would make it even better!

Overall, an excellent place to fine. All food was prepared to perfection and the drinks were great as well. Great place for a couple or a large group of family and friends.

Our server was not good which impacted our overall experience. We had to ask several times for drinks, had to ask for steak knives after our food had arrived, the salad was delivered with the meal when asked for it before (had to send steak back to keep it warm while ate the salad), every time she walked by my chair she hit it - every time. When our food was delivered she was not around so other people had to help us.
