The food and service were great, although the restaurant was quite noisy. We were celebrating the birthdays of two nonagenarians, and enjoyed the table tent waiting for us with happy birthday wishes. A complimentary sweet treat in their honor would have been appreciated too.

Servers were super busy, could have use a helper. Food was ok, the fish was a little cool. Everything else was hot. Didn’t have to wait too long for the food. Overall it was just a bit on the pricey side for what you get, if you decide on an entree versus burger.

Wonderful service made this a News Years brunch we'll remember. I've eaten at Hecks before with mediocre service making for a meh experience. Our server today was over the top efficient, pleasant and welcoming. 10 out of 10

Generally, we have excellent food and service. The past two times we were there, the food was not hot when it arrived and the service was slow. Today the place was not busy at all and they did not have coffee ready. After we were finally served, he server never came back to check on us. My mom who has dementia likes it and the menu is easy for her to navigate, so while I’m disappointed overall, she loves going there.

For NYE, the quality of the food is not was it usually is. Food was delivered warm, not hot. Menu choices were average since it was a condensed Menu.

Calamari was good but the burger and fries were not. Maybe my expectations were simply too high overall but for the prices, I expected better food and better service.

Never been to Heck’s despite living in Mayfield/Beachwood my whole life. Stumbled in here on accident after stopping for a glass of wine at Antica. We intended to just stop for cocktails & small bites, but the menu looked so interesting we stayed for dinner and it is now our new favorite spot. I was wary of the strawberry balsamic martini, but wanted to take a risk and try something new. It did not disappoint! A great balance of sweet & savory. My date had the mai tai and loved it. We enjoyed the eggplant dip and the salt & pepper fries, and were so impressed we decided to order dinner. We got a wonderful Brussels Caesar salad that was the perfect size to split, and the short rib with asparagus was to die for. It fell off the bone, was juicy and tender. It was the first time we went out to dinner around here and were genuinely impressed. Their desert menu looked amazing, but we were just too full. The quality of the food versus the price is insane as well. The portion sizes are wonderful, all nice to share, and compared to other places in the area, the food is worth every penny. On top of that, the service and ambiance was awesome. We will definitely be returning to try the rest of the menu! Such a happy accident.

I would not go here for breakfast or brunch. No regular coffee available, omelet is over cooked, potatoes were over cooked, french fries were dried out. No a very interesting menu for breakfast -- too many fancy items and not many simple breakfast items. Fruit on omelet plate was only pineapple. Ordered cappuccino, because they did not serve regular coffee, and it was small and not hot.
