    I met a couple of my family members at The Heirloom to celebrate our birthdays. It’s a great place to meet- in between my home in Louisville and theirs in Lexington and Nicholasville. This is our second time celebrating at The Heirloom and I’m so glad we chose to return. The menu selections are a nice variety. I recommend Mary’s Burger, and I had a piece of my sister in law’s flatbread that was really tasty. It’s nice and quiet and our server Mikayla was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.

    All 4 of us loved our dinner! From salad, entree and desserts. We cleaned our plates and hope to return soon. Our server Gretchen was the best. Very friendly and attentive.

    A hidden gem for sure. Food was delicious and elegantly prepared and presented. The service was impeccable. Will be back! PS the Maple Old Fashioned was the best I’ve ever had.

    Discontinues to be the best restaurant in the state of Kentucky. It rivals some of the best restaurants in the country. This restaurant is not to be missed.

    The food was excellent. Ordered some wine, had appetizer then ordered our food —-but the food took an hour before we got our main course, so food service was really slow, but the quality of the food was excellent. Arrived at 6:15 did not get main course till 8:15 and left around 9 pm. Just a long time for dinner. We understand everything‘s made homemade as ordered we were told when Manager came out to apologize. 👍🏻❤️ Just seemed strange everyone else had eaten and leaving and we were still waiting :( Our first time, not so impressed with service, but appreciated the Manager apologies and free desserts

    It was a busy NYE. They double checked our reservation, which was great, but they bottle necked a little around 7:30. We had seats at the bar and were taken care of by Melissa. She was the best server we’ve had in a long, long time. She was a pro, despite the hectic environment. She makes a great old fashioned! She more than made up for the wait. Can’t wait to try it on a regular night.
