This place is very good when the buffet option is available. However is they are the slightest bit busy and the buffet is closed, stay away! There is an obvious disconnect between the kitchen and wait staff.

We had a dinner reservation but the property had decided to close the restaurant for the night due to a slow night. No cancellation was sent for our reservation. We were seated at Bean & Barrel seating area, the bar on the property. We should have just left but decided to give it a chance. That turned out to be a big mistake. Although we ordered from Herd and Hearth menu, the food was horrible. We ordered mushroom ravioli that turned to be very runny and risotto that looks like porridge. The crab cake seems like the frozen ones you get from the store. The server was kind enough to offer us different dish but we were already turned off. We barely ate our food and ate the kids food instead which was surprisingly okay compared to the quality of our food. But then again, it’s hard to screw up making fries and burger. One thing to add, servers are kind but it seems the place was short staffed. Anyway, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Never again. No one greeted us. I had to go find someone at the bar who basically just said someone should be over there soon. There was one waiter who eventually came over to help. She was nice…not overly, she did the job. Also, the menu does not match what is on the website or on OpenTable. The waiter advised that it changes slightly and they do not update the website. The food was very basic, nothing to write home about…additional seasoning needed. Zero flavor.

Awful experience. Service was horrible. It was a constant exercise to explain something to wait staff. Barely to no English available. Expect this at a drive thru, not a country club. Never going back!

Christmas Eve brunch was a wonderful experience. The food was great; multiple options with a variety for all palates. Especially enjoyed the dessert bar ;) The staff was hospitable, accommodating, and attentive. It was memorable with a jolly Santa who was happy to greet and take pictures with the kiddos. Thoughtful for family and kiddos- including room for arts/crafts/fun activities for kiddos and hot chocolate. Well done spacing of guests for intimacy and given pandemic. Beautiful venue with multiple picture perfect spots to take holiday pictures to cherish. It was a joy to visit Herd and Hearth!

Upon checking in, the host was confused regarding our reservation. The service was slow even though there were only 3 tables that were occupied. One of the waiter spilled ice on the table and then, pick up the dropped ice and placed it back in the pitcher to serve us water. We always have to request our water cup to be filled because one of our waiter was always on his phone. It was disappointing on both the service and food level.

Menu looks nice, hotel does not have the staff to service the restaurant. Promptly seated at time of reservation for our table of 8. After that nobody came by for an order. After 17 minutes we left. Don’t go hotel is under poor management. Don’t waste your time. Don’t go, don’t try NO NO NO Avoid.
