    Menu was somewhat uninspired. Entre of yellow fin tuna and beef tenderloin. For the price how about something more interesting like rack of lamb or Dover sole. Maybe next time.

    Chef Greene has designed an intriguing experience that brings unique flavors and presentations to the entire meal. The service is excellent with the team knowledge of the dishes and the flow of the evening. Heron’s space exudes class and refinement.

    For a five-star restaurant, the service was surprisingly inconsistent. Despite the restaurant not being busy, it took over 10 minutes to receive water and another 10 minutes just to get a glass of wine. We also had to deal with inconsiderate guest who spoke on the phone and on speaker for a long time. I’m sure it’s not easy to deal with a customer like that but it was disappointing.

    I can not begin to express how much we enjoyed this meal. We did the tasting menu, and not a single regret about it. It was a wonderful selection, the taste progression was clearly done with thought, every bite was exquisite, and we finished the meal quite full. Since I am unable to eat mushrooms, a few changes were made for me, but I didn't feel like I was missing anything. 100% will go again. A wonderful place for a true fine dining experience.

    This is our second time eating at Herons and I’ll be honest I was a bit disappointed this time. First of all, service was pretty non-existent except from the Sommelier. We didn’t order until about 50 minutes into our meal. Bread service came maybe 15 minutes after that. The foie gras course was not good. The bitterness of the mandarin completely overtook the whole dish. And the foie gras was a foie gras mousse with no richness and a poor mouthfeel. Everything is plated beautifully, and the cooking is executed well. Nothing that we went wow this is really great. Dessert was also disappointing, especially the chocolate dish. And the meal took us 4 hours for 4 courses. We’ll give it one more try, maybe it was just an off night.
