   Our favorite place for pub food and a cold beer. We had a large party and the service was great.

   The food was good but the service seemed slow. Getting a refill on my drink was difficult, if not impossible.

   We sat on the rooftop, which was great. 3 in our group wanted Shepherd’s pie, but they were out of mashed potatoes, so no Shepherd’s pie at an Irish restaurant. Speakers with some undefinable kind of music right overhead—too loud for our liking. The salmon BLT was delivered without any salmon or bacon on it; when re-ordered, it came with salmon and bacon, although we had requested no bacon. Asked the server to take a group picture, which he was happy to do but couldn’t wait until I finished chewing!

   Great food, but some of the worst service I’ve ever experienced. Took over 20 minutes just to be greeted and probably another 45 minutes to place an order after telling the server we were ready. Was brought the wrong food and the server was unapologetic and just walked away when I told her that it was not what I’d asked for.

   Dia dhuit! Fantastic traditional Irish pub! Except for the accents of the patrons, I felt like I was in Dublin or Galway. The service and the food were wonderful and a properly poured draft Guinness pint as well! The manager, a real Irishman, gave my bride and I a tour of the wonderful pictures on the wall and their history. The outdoor seating offered a nice view of Raleigh. We drove an hour to get to Raleigh after I learned about Hibernian and I will definitely be back. Fada beo Eire!

    The food was awesome, and even though our waitress (Jessica, I think?) was the only waitress working that day, she was extremely attentive and sweet—and made sure we got everything we needed. Will definitely be back!
