HiFalutin is a family dream come true...Back in 1986, as we were creating a name for "Baggin's" (our gourmet sandwich shops), we came across the word "HiFalutin". The name seemed to encompass another dream that we had for establishing a unique, western-like restaurant- one that would be "a cut above" the rest. As that name danced in our heads for 16 years...it has inspired and shaped the creation we now share with you - "HiFalutin:". We hope you will enjoy "our dream" as much as we have enjoyed making it come true. We are a family - related by love, and a passion for great food and entertainment.                                                                   Trying the Cheese Crisp is a must. The combination of the puffy-crispy tortilla smothered in green chilis and tomatoes is fantastic. We will be back for the Prickly Pear Margarita and steaks again. Using Open Table to make our reservation was very helpful, we were seated at our scheduled time.

                                                                  Went for their Corned Beef and cabbage special, and deliciously it did not disappoint ! Along with the attentive and prompt service, it made for a Happy St Patrick’s Day!

                                                                  Always such a lovely experience. Delicious food always prepared perfectly, our server Bradley didn't miss a thing (attention to detail matters) and the owner graciously stopped at our table so I could share our dining experience. We live out ot town but this is always our first and only choice when in or near Tucson. Ambience, decor and friendly staff make it special each time you eat here.

                                                                  Food was great as usual. I had the 10 oz prime rib special and my date had the filet minion. Both cooked to order and tender. Vegetables and loaded baked potato, and one slice of delicious moist carrot cake with cream cheese frosting for dessert. Paired the meal with cocktails. A perfect night out dining experience. One of my favorite Tucson restaurants! Happy to see it was pretty busy too.

                                                                  We had our favorite, the Cowboy Ribeye, a mouthwatering steak seasoned to perfection topped with grilled shrimp and blue cheese . Paired with their Margaritas. Service was excellent, exceeding expectations , he kept an eye on our drinks and our water. Great western / casual atmosphere with a lively old west bar makes for a unique dining experience. We will be back.

                                                                  Overall we were quite pleased the only problem was our appetizer was served after our salad so we really couldn’t figure out why? Additionally, it was my wife’s B’day and we mentioned it on our reservation but nothing was mentioned at all!

                                                                  This was my second trip to Hifalutin. Unfortunately, the experience was not as good as the first time. Service was satisfactory, not excellent. Our steaks were very tough and not properly cooked. And the chef still hasn't figured out how to cook vegetables. In short, we were disappointed.

                                                                  HiFalutin is consistently good. Food is delicious, staff is so very nice, friendly, and efficient. My husband is handicapped. The staff is always ready to help us. They make us feel welcome.
