What started out as a not so good experience turned out to be pretty positive. The issue was the open to the outside bar. Great for accommodating customers who want to sit outside and enjoy cocktails in warm weather. However, the temperature was in the low 60s and it was very windy. The open concept made the temperature in the restaurant unbearably chilly. We asked the manager if that bar window could be closed and the response was no. So they were willing to accommodate the very few people having a drink outside but not the ones eating dinner inside. She did raise the heat in the dining room to 78 which made it somewhat more comfortable. We have had many wonderful meals at High Tide and the food and service have been top-notch. This was no exception. A special shout-out to our server Shawn (or Sean?) who was outstanding and made an already great meal even better.

Shizuka is our favorite server. She is so welcoming and attentive. We have become regulars because of her. Also, love the food and ambiance of this place. Our favorite local place for seafood.

We have eaten at this location as well as the Val Vista location many times over the years, but this was a very disappointing experience. Our server was great and very apologetic, so none of this was her fault. My husband was served an extremely rare steak when ordered medium. They took it back and brought it out again and it was still blue in the middle. The manager was not eager to solve the problem, and said it was safe to eat. He should have said, “this is not what you ordered and we will make it right.” We convinced him to make a new steak instead of trying to further cook all the pieces that had been cut into to check for doneness. I ordered the lobster bisque and it was extremely thick with a gloppy off putting texture. A restaurant of this caliber should know not to serve that consistency. In the end, they charged us full price after all the extra time and patience that it took to get the meal done properly. We won’t be back to this location any time soon.

Amazing service from Penelope!! Food was slow to come out and chicken was so greasy. Mussels on point.

The best seafood in the entire southeast valley with unique entrees you can’t find anywhere else. The service is always first class, just like the food. The best fish and chips and very few restaurants offer a halibut or oyster option. Check out their Happy Hour specials. I just had huge, Bluepoint oysters that were just $2/each. One of our family’s favorites is the Crab Cheesy Garlic Bread.

One of our favorite restaurants. Love the Louisiana Gumbo. We have never had a bad meal here.

Never had a bad meal in this wonderful place. The staff are efficient, friendly and always give ex excellent service.

Been a few months since we'd been back to High Tides. We started off with two of our favorite appetizers the Rockefeller Scallops and brussels sprouts, the brussels sprouts were not cooked enough so we had to send them back, but the replacement order was spot on. Unfortunately, they change my favorite meal the Herb Crusted Sea Bass last time I had it I did not care for it, and they haven't changed it back, so this time I tried the Shrimp Scampi Pasta, and it was pretty good. My wife tried the Seafood Enchiladas, and they were very good, but the beans and rice that came with them were awful. Overall, still a great place with great service!

The halibut fish and chips are a must! They give you three big pieces. It’s enough to share.
