Welcome to Highlander House Restaurant and Bar. Our beautiful restaurant attracts our clients with unique styles, friendly atmosphere, and delicious food. The name of the restaurant was greatly influenced by our family's roots, which are originated from the mountains in Poland.

The style of the restaurant consists of many of souvenirs, wooden decorations, regional costumes, and traditional instruments to give our guests that authentic atmosphere. Dishes are prepared from scratch according to recipes originating from the south region of Poland called Podhale.

We offer regional and traditional Polish cuisine. Our European plate, sauerkraut soup, sheep cheese soup, unique taste of lamb plate and pork shank ranks highest in popularity amongst our guests.

Every Sunday we have live entertainment featuring Polish Highlanders. With the help of our friendly staff and delicious food, we hope you continue to come back and visit us at Highlander House.

    We went for the food and live Polish folk music. We were not disappointed! We had a fantastic time! Food was great, service was great, music was great - everything was A+! Will definitely return.

    Food cooked to perfection. Service was prompt too. The alcoholic drinks were top drawer. Definitely going back.

    Excellent experience! Our first time here for the five of us & can’t wait to go back, our food was delicious, our server was from Zakopane, he was adorable! My husband & I had been to Zakopane & we were showing & sharing pictures on our phones with him., It was really fun to talk to him about Poland! We had the best lunch & a great experience at The Highlander Restaurant!

    Excellent authentic Polish food, attentive and friendly service, family neighborhood vibe. Best pierogi and cabbage rolls!! Our waiter Stash was the best!! We’ll be back!

    Best Polish restaurant in Chicago area. The pierogi, sauerkraut, potato pancakes, sausage, golabki, desserts, soup. Unbelievably amazing!
