   Great inventive take on classic Southern food. Ambiance of a century old log cabin sets the background for the dining experience. Highly recommend

   Lovely dinner at Highlands Supper Club. Our rating would have been excellent across the board but the noise level in the room where we were seated was so high that the person across the table could not hear me (this was a 4 top table). Food was interesting and very delicious with wonderful use of local products - such as fiddle head ferns which are only available for a couple of weeks in the spring. The Chef is very talented. We will return and asked to be seated in a different part of the restaurant to see if the noise level is more accomodating.

   Dined there to celebrate a birthday. We had excellent service and really enjoyed the log cabin atmosphere, including the big fireplace. The food was very good and nicely presented. The deviled eggs appetizer was unique and delicious.

   Excellent dinner! My husband ordered the Elk and I ordered the Trout. Both were amazing!!!! The flavors in each were superb!

   This meal was one of my top 10 favorite meals of all time. I had the 1/2 chicken (fried) and my husband had the elk. Both of our meals were delicious and our server was so sweet and informative. We are staying at the Trailborn hotel and will be back for brunch this weekend. I will be thinking about this experience for years to come!
