   Showed up at scheduled reservation time to find I had no served table set up. Luckily was able to get a table. So setting up a reservation thru OpenTable might be a waste of time and set you up for an surprised disappointing dinner planning evening out. Beware...

   Mary ordered the crab cake and soup combo. The crab cake was the worst - all filler, questionable on if there was any crab. The potatoes in the soup were undercooked. Total disappointment.

   We always eat here before the theater. It is so convenient and the food is delicious. Service is great and servers are so friendly.

   The Hipp Cafe was an unexpected and pleasant find! In looking for a place to eat prior to seeing the "I Love Lucy" play, we found that the Hippodrome Theater has an indoor cafe. Quite truthfully, we didn't expect much, but since we had tickets for a weekday show and considering rush-hour traffic, we didn't have much of a dining choice, so we made reservations. Much to our surprise, the menu was perfect - a small selection usually equals good food. Things got better when the food arrived - our selections were perfectly portioned and delicious! And our waitress and servers were perfect hosts with a flare of their own. They made us feel very special! What wonderful service! We will definitely eat there again, even without theater tickets:)

   We LOVE our date nights at the Hippodrome, but especially enjoy the convenience of dining at the Hipp Cafe'! The food is always prepared with flair and tastes fantastic. All the servers are so prompt, professional and friendly. It's a highlight of our busy day to just relax and enjoy a light dinner before the show at the Hipp Cafe

   We made reservations at 5:30 PM in order to have plenty of time before the 6:30 show. The young fellow taking our order was knowledgeable and helpful. The food was delivered to the table promptly and the empty dishes were removed just as promptly. The food was excellent and we didn't feel stuffed when we finished. It was delightful and we will be back.

   Hipp Café is great for a bite before a show at the Hippodrome. It's located in the lobby of the theater, and has a nice menu. You have to order at the counter, and your food is delivered to your table by very pleasant wait staff. The food is quite good, reasonably priced and reservations are taken!

    Everyone is very pleasant and food is good but takes awhile to arrive. Book no later than noon if you're seeing a play.
