We offer Giant Bavarian Pretzels, Schnitzel Weiner Art, Jagerschnitzel, and Potato Pancakes just to name a few! LIVE music Thursday through Saturday and a huge outdoor biergarten that's dog friendly.                                                       We went with a group of eight people. Three small potato pancakes for $12 which I thought was overpriced. My Wiener schnitzel was pounded so thin and it was dry and the German potatoes were nothing like my family who came from Germany and made German style potatoes. German potatoes at the restaurant had so much vinegar in them that we could not eat them. I ordered a side order of Spatzel And what they brought me was rubbery like they had been left over, reheated in a microwave and seen better days. I sent it back and got a new order that was freshly made and it was a little better but still tasted rubbery. One of the ladies ordered the black forest cake. What was served was a chocolate layer cake slice on a plate That was clear with pink tinge sauce. There were no cherries in between the layers of the black forest cake. Most of us said we would not return. We all thought the food was way overpriced for what you got. There was also no German band on a Saturday. We were hugely disappointed all together in the experience

                                                      We went here for my birthday for the 1st time. We had good service and everyone enjoyed their appetizers and entree. The only thing to complain about was that we were charged $1.00 a person for asking for a plate and fork for our cheesecake that we brought in. The waitress even went to ask the manager if this was the case and it was. I felt bad for the waitress. You could tell she felt awkward telling us so we just paid it without making an issue.

                                                      This place looked ready to close for good. no music on a Friday night, we had terrible service that took20 mins to get water and drinks. They messed up our order twice. It was all around the worst experience I have had here

                                                      HBH St. Louis has started to return to normal after the politicized/weaponized debacle that was COVID-19… We had a great experience (food, service, cleanliness, etc.). Hoping that they return to normal soon, and get customers back in, so they can be fully open again.

                                                      I’ve been to the place before and it was a great experience. But I guess covid did its wonder and the atmosphere is not what it was before. Great food and beer though

                                                      This was a fun evening for myself and my date. The band, Uber Cool, was fun to listen to. They had a whole dance floor of parents and little kids dancing. The singer taught them all a fun dance. Delightful!

                                                      I eat at the Hofbrauhaus probably once every month to 7 weeks. Their beers are good and reminiscent of the ones I had atcthe one in Munich. No, there aren't any Frauleins carrying 5 or 6 steins in each hand -- the place isn't that busy. The Jaegerschnitzel is very good by American standards. Their limited menu is still pretty limited, but in today's restaurant environment it's understandable. I ate on a Saturday night at 5 but I stillexpected an oom-pah band. Most of the bands play more country than polkas, which is a shame. It's worth the time and money and I haven't found better German food recently. Prosit!!!
