At Home Block Restaurant, we embrace the bounty of the Okanagan while our name pays homage to the Home Block Vineyard which surrounds us. Our building is crafted from fieldstone and 100-year-old reclaimed barn wood and our cuisine draws on those elemental roots. We integrate natural cooking methods like our wood-fired grill fueled by timber from local orchards and seasoned barrel staves. The result is honest, confident, and approachable food that unites flawlessly with CedarCreek wine.

Enjoy 3 courses created by Executive Chef Neil Taylor for $95 wine-paired with 2 of our hand-selected wines (4oz pairings). **Please advise of any dietary restrictions or allergies in advance** For those wishing to dine without partaking in the wine, the cost is $74 for the food only.
5 Course Platinum Library Experience

An immersive 5-course wine-paired experience built around our Platinum Collection of wines. This experience highlights some of the best wines produced at CedarCreek, thoughtfully paired with a locally-inspired, chef-curated menu and includes rare library-wine vintages for $185 per person. We do require all allergy information of the group at least 24 hours before your reservation. Our Chef's use these dietaries to create a single set-menu for the whole table. Guest's choosing not to partake in the wine portion of the experience will be charged $120 for the food only. All payments due at the restaurant upon completion of the experience. We look forward to hosting you!

Our second time here. Did not disappoint. We had the 3 course wine pairing menu. Starting with the mushroom soup paired with a very nice Chardonnay , second with a beautiful ribeye and an awesome Cab Sauv and finished with sticky toffee pudding, incredible. Portions were very generous. We had to actually take food home. Only down side…. The wine servings are quite small. Service was amazing and a great venue. A must go when in Kelowna.

Overall service and quality were excellent. Sent back food little undercooked but they resolved the problem and food was delicious. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and professional service

The restaurant setting was very nice and the service was great. The wine suggested hit the mark in both taste and value. The burrata salad was awesome and the desserts, (chocolate tart and sticky toffee) were a hit. Unfortunately the steak was tough and we found the smoke flavour in the smoked leak gratin a little too much for us.

I normally really enjoy my experience at CC. I’m a club member and wanted to take my girls out for a girls night. We visited this weekend and had a very disappointing experience. We booked a reservation for the $95 experience. We sat down and it took 45 min before we had a glass of wine in our hands. In that 45 min, we saw the server twice. She was very friendly to start, but the second time we saw her (35 min in), she was very cold. No smile, short responses. Maybe something happened, but it was hard not to think we did something wrong. It took another 10 minutes after that visit to get any wine. Our food came and was also disappointing. My steak (which I paid an extra $15 for), was chewy and overdone. The pasta was very meh, the shrimp didn’t fit with the rest of the dish. Serving sizes were large enough, we did get full. The whole “experience” was 2.5 hours. In that time, we had two paired wines, 4 oz each. So in 2.5 hours, we had 1 glass of wine. One. At a winery. Maybe the worst part of it all is that we really liked the oaked Chardonnay that was paired with our dinner. We asked if we could buy a bottle afterwards and they told us it was only for members. I said perfect, I’m a club member! She said I could order it online, so I logged in to my account and it still wasn’t available. The manager gave me a card to follow up with the winery (apparently they’re separate entities). We weren’t the only table with this experience because we knew the people at the table next to us and we compared notes afterwards. They were there for 2.5+ hours as well. Again, I’ve had good experiences, but this missed the mark, in all categories. It’s the off season - maybe under staffed, over booked? We definitely didn’t buy any CC wine this trip and with so many options for club memberships, I’m questioning if I want to keep this one.

Thank you so much for the valuable feedback Andrea, it is though feedback like yours that we can grow to make our experiences better for all. I am sorry to hear that we have missed the mark on your most recent experience. As a wine club member you are eligible for free tastings in the tasting room where you can try all of the wines. We often have guests do a tasting before dinner to partake in those benefits. Unfortunately, BC liquor licensing mandates that we are unable to host tastings in our restaurant as with a restaurant license we have to purchase our wines from the BLCDB instead of the winery. Licensing can make it tricky to provide the same services in all of the areas of the winery. We will use you feedback to discuss how we can actively do better. Have a glorious weekend.
