Honey Salt is a restaurant dedicated to celebrating the best of B.C. It is located on the lobby level of JW Marriott inside Parq Vancouver. Serves as a cozy home-style, welcoming restaurant with a sophisticated and casual neighborhood ambiance. The cuisine consists of a dynamic, seasonally inspired menu showcasing local ingredients with an emphasis on farm-to-table. The restaurant will boast a lively bar fueled by culinary inspired cocktails, regional spirits and beers, and BC centric wine list. As Honey Salt is not located on the Casino floor, kids are welcome!

The food was delicious and the seating was nice and comfortable. The service was not good, 10 minutes before anyone came over and after that only time we got anything was when we stopped server running by and asked for a drink or something else. Seemed like he was more interested in other tables and over whelmed. Not a good service but experience at all.

Food was good for a simple brunch. Service was poor. Our reservation didn’t show up on their end and the host seemed to be quite confused on what to do. They looked a bit disheveled and didn’t not bother to apologize for the error. We got a table in the end and upon being seated the waiter spilled water around the table as they were filling our glasses. They came back accusing one of us for spilling on the menu but the person who was in the seat was away in the restroom before the water was even poured… very odd experience. Again, no apology. The host also missed giving us some menues which we didn’t realize until after we ordered. Unfortunate, as I missed out on the Caesar cart. Overall, the service felt very mismatched to the establishment. Given that it is a higher end restaurant, I’d expect service to be up to par in maturity and professionalism.

Worst service ever! Insanely small portions for price, $26 dollars for a piece of toast and less than 2 eggs.

It was really good however it missed that extra in all departments to make it very good to take it to next level .

The restaurant had a casual setting. We went there for the Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinner buffets. The buffet had lots of options to fit everybody’s tastes. The food was excellent and the service was as well. Prices were very reasonable.

It was a great an unforgettable experience. I was surprised that they were busy but the service was amazing and food was delicious.
